Koosh's Gallery: New Mutants (11/25)

Hello everyone, did you miss me?  Life has kept me busy these last few years so I apologize for my absence.  It's been a long time since I've posted anything (over 4 years since my last micro) but I finally found my way back to my old hobby.  I always loved this community and I'm glad to be back.

I figured rather than pick up where I left off, I would start fresh with a new avatar, new gallery, and an updated template (thanks to Kodiak).  I'm a little rusty so to ease myself into it I decided to modify some old stuff first.

I finished my first all new micro faster than expected.  I thought it would take me longer to get comfortable but I guess it's like a riding a bike.  I did go back to my old template though, not much difference but I decided to stick to what I'm used to.

It's official, I'm addicted to this hobby again.  So I spent a good amount of my weekend working on a few X-Men I have never made before.

Yeah; it was a good time for the comics, heavy material mixed with light-hearted fun in almost every issue. Also, they had plots and arcs that didn't rewrite themselves every 8 months!

Continuing with the X-Men theme, I have never done any of the New Mutants before.  I decided to go with everyone in matching uniforms to start but I may do some of their individual looks in the near future.  I enjoyed making Warlock, definitely unique compared to anything I've made before.

               

Cannonball, Mirage, Karma, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, Magma, Magik, Cypher, Warlock

Definitely a way to get my attention, hehe. I LOVE this set!! Warlock turned out wicked!
