Nine years later the Red Dwarf crew are older but still none the wiser. Lister's busy day of annoying Rimmer is interrupted by the discovery of a dimension-hopping leviathan in the ship's mile-deep water tank.


Back To Earth - Part Two
Saturday, April 11th, 9pm
Rimmer's replacement, Katerina (Sophie Winkleman), is determined to guide Lister back to his home planet. But Earth in 2009 is not everything the boys had expected, and Rimmer has no intention of being replaced.



Back To Earth - Part Three
Sunday, April 12th, 9pm
Knowing they are destined to die, the Dwarfers head to a mysterious address in London to plead for more life.

Destined to die? Rimmer's replacement? A really, really big water tank? To find out what the hell is really going on you'll have to tune in to Dave!

But i really can't wait for this, Red dwarf has always been my favourite show, i heard rumours last year about a special for last yeasr christmas but was sad to see it not happen, but i'm so hyped for this ^-^

They used to show re-runs of this show on some of our "little" local channels late at night (here in Illinois), I loved it. I'm glad to see they're possibly bringing it back. Anybody know where online i might watch this?

I was slightly disappointed with tonight's but I'm hoping it'll only get better!

It had some good jokes and the new hologram, already forgotten her name is quite nice to look at haha

It was ok, watchable just not the same feel of the older episodes.
Definetly watching more.

Yeah cause I always find that someone's spelling is the greatest tool in determining someone's sexual orientation

2nd episode's over, better than the first but could be better, ahh well atleast there's still the class old episodes to watch

Agreed, it was better than the first. The bit with the science officer and Rimmer was really funny. But I'm not that sure about where all this is going. But looking forward to the smeg ups and love the fact Dave changed it's logo, nice touch.

just got on here for the first time since RD:BTA aired... well i have to say the first one scared me, i thought, christ they've killed us, made us wait so long and served a hot steamy pile of poo poo...

But part two left me pleasently suprised, full of great twists and intriguing ideas... I am left wondering does the similar title to "Back to Reality" mean anything?

Ok, Me = very disappointed

Bact to Earth was no where near as good as it could have been and in many ways it sucked

O well, atleast the classic old episodes have never been a let down

The unfortunate thing was that they tried to up the stakes and failed. But I want to know how the hell McC keeps doing this? First he guesses the season 4 finale of Doctor who right now this.

I do want that freakin car though.
