Adding it all together, a teaser by Japan's Pokémon Sunday TV program points to an announcement next weekend that Pokémon Gold and Silver will be remade.

The tease, offered this weekend, said simply that Pokémon Sunday would have a "world-exclusive first announcement," on May 10 during the program's Pokémon Game Arena segment.

Oh, but there's what you say, and then there's how you say it. Or, more importantly, where you say it. In this case, it was said underneath two gold and silver confetti-filled balls. (depicted). Hmmmmmm. HMMMMMMMM. What could that mean?

From Bulbanews: "It is also theorized that Junichi Masuda will appear on the show to make the announcement, since he did so both last month and the month prior in regard to other game-related scoops."

Me too, he was my first choice when I played Ruby.


Anyway, I've been waiting for a remake of Gold and Silver since they remade Blue and Red (Leaf Green and Fire Red)

This rumour and chatter about a remake has been going on for a while now, and I just hope it's going to be this who will be announced next sunday

I also liked every water type in the games thus far =\

But, yeah it'll be cool to play a remake.

Why can't they just let the Pokemon series die!?

Because I doubt it'd be a very good decision to dump a series that keeps raking in money every time a new game comes out for it.

Red and blue where great, Gold and Silver where even better and added some cool features.

Ruby and Sapphire, well let's say I'll never understand why they removed the day-night alternance

Fire Red and Leaf Green, were like the original, only with better graphics, and even more hours because of the added islands after Elite 4

Diamond and Pearl are the best games so far for me, a lot of cool new stuff, nice graphics, cool new pokemons etc...

If they can remake Gold and Silver with the same engine as Diamond and Pearl and with added bonuses like they did for Fire Red and Leaf Green then it's going to be great and a lot of people will do like me and buy the games.


Yes I know I'm 24 years old, childish games like pokemon shouldn't be the games I like the best, but I have no shame admitting I do love them and they make me happy.
