Like Fac said, try not to double post. If anything you can just edit your original posting. Overall some good art.

A micro, is like you have seen, the basic pixel representation of any media character. As example, my avatar is a micro.

Mine is pixel based. It is a representaiton of a media character (bulbasaur from pokemon)

The only differences between yours and mine is that
a. mine is bigger.
b. It's not human
c. It's not in a rigid pose

Is it one of THOSE factors that makes it not a micro?

but more or less .. hes right.. even if microheroes dont have to be media characters and their are far more diffrence than he told
but whats normaly calleda micro(hero) is a (mostly) frontview (most of the time) humanoid picture pixeled

but still you can upload any media here..

Yes I know about, I'm just telling him, I said a media character to give an example. But we are going off topic.

So this is a Deadpool sketch that I started, and decided I'll finish sometime tomorrow. There's some more shading errors, body anatomy needs a little work, and the web seems to have darkened my colors quite considerably. >_< So I'll need to lighten that.

Still trying to find a style, this is my second micro, so I'm still grasping the idea of dithering, working on having one light source. Lemme know what you think.

Though this is stuff most would consider pixel art, i find it tedious argueing over what meets the criteria of "micros".

Deadpool looks very good so far, i like that you can see the expression of the face from under the mask, and the highlights on the black bits look great so far. The shape of the hand on the left looks odd but its still being worked on clearly.

I'm with Alex. Nice work on these. I goto other boards and most still call my micro work "sprites". Even though I tell them the difference.
