The thing DC has done too many times, and we, Marvel zombies, always have criticized! It was almost necessary, anyway, once settled than the only characters who seems interesting enough to Marvel staff are those created in the sixties  And lets pray Murdoch finds inspiration and contribute with a few zillions of dollars to fullfill our dreams

from what i've heard, it's not a reboot, it's a retcon on a large scale. the only thing they are doing is merging the Marvel Universe (Earth 616) with the Ultimate Universe (Earth 1610) to make an all new modern Marvel Universe. everyone's story since the 60's will still be the same except pushing their respective timelines and origins down to at least either the 90's with a few modern tweaks.
