Thanks Bobby! I didn't put that in the first time I did Spectral but as I was re-reading these comics I realized he needed to be crazy angry in the face while red. I like how it turned out

Update...finally

Yeah had a minor family emergency with my Father-in-law so I was out of town most of last week. But I did manage to finish the small set I was working on...

Deathwish and the Lady of Light.
I liked how Deathwish turned out. I was actually pleasantly surprised because I was dreading making him...and it's weird because he's basically a mutant cancer that came out of an old man...

Anyway thanks for looking and enjoy!

Great work on both of them. The style of shading used for Deathwish is always a challenge for me, so I'm impressed any time I see someone do it successfully.

Yeah that shading is difficult because you never really know if it's going to look good until you just go for it. I went for it and I like the way it turned out. Glad that you do too! Thanks for the comment!!

Update!

The Strangers met up with a crew of Ultra Pirates! These were people that were on the same cable car in San Francisco when the "jumpstart effect" struck that gave them their powers. This group just decided to be bad guys instead of heroes...


Scar (the leader), Sangre, Sandblast, Gecko, Yardarm, and Centipede.

Centipede fantastic.

You just keep getting better & better John....and that micro of the Centipede is one of the coolest things I have seen in a LONG time...your use of depth and the angular details in his body are mind boggling. You did an excellent job in making him and you get 2 Gold Stars for him....best micro you've ever made, great interpretation!!

Thanks a lot Bobby! Coming from a creator that I admire this really means a lot! I actually expected more responses on him because he's so unique... but whatever. I appreciate you guys that come and look at this obscure stuff

Zara is from Yrial's tribe of people that live on the island in the sky... more Ultraverse craziness!


Powerhouse shows up a couple times in the Strangers series as a villain. Basically he got a jumpstart back in 1939 way before any other superheroes were active. His parents thought that his strength was a direct result from him going crazy. They sent him to an asylum where he was put into a strait jacket and he couldn't get any leverage to break out of it. He was in the asylum for 50(!) years when the county lost it's funding and he had to be let go. The asylum really did drive him crazy and now he's out to get those that were more fortunate than him... I actually really enjoyed this little backstory. It's kinda like what if Jonathan and Martha Kent thought Clark was crazy instead of supporting his heroism...
