cLeRk Gallery - High Voltage up

So Ive been here a year+ and haven't posted a thing, and for that i am sorry. I've wanted to share the micros that i have made but haven't had the time to sit down and do it, but now i have stopped making excuses (most likely because of the warning of a lurker purge) and made time hopefully this will be the first of many posts.

Well now that that's out of the way the first project id like to share is my "revamp" of characters from Ace Periodicals information on them can be found here: http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/a/aceper.htm if i ever get the story fully fleshed out ill post it here.

Real Name: Akili Nelson
Age: 27
Power(s): Above average intelligence and agility. Power suit increases her strength and durability while also allowing her to control a swarm of genetically engineered spiders
(brief) History: Daughter of the second Black Spider a "mad scientist" type super villain. She has spent her entire hero career trying to restore both her family name and alter ego.

Man. Another person who's revamping a Golden Age publisher's characters? I was just getting ready to do some!

The Sword


Real Name: Arthur Lake
Age: 34
Power(s): Mystical properties of his sword transform him into a masculine warrior and the sword itself into a larger unbreakable blade. The blade also allows him to fly and fire energy blasts.
(brief) History: While exploring the caverns underneath his estate Arthur Lake discovered a rusted sword in a stone (Note: Not the Sword in the Stone of Arthurian lore, just a sword in a stone) when he drew the blade it transformed him, granted him magnificent powers and the scenes of righteousness to become a hero.

Can't take any credit for this micro, as its just some templates pasted together, credit to its creator, ill post his "hero uniform" when i get an idea of what it should look like.

Real Name: Unknown, uses several pseudonyms, favoring president's names, James Buchanan being his most common
Age: late 20's
Power(s): Literally a "Man without fear", he lacks both mental and physical reactions to fear and stress (no second guessing himself, no sweaty palms, etc.), also possesses a brilliant mind and combat training
(brief) History: Claims to be the son of the Golden Age hero Captain Courageous, thought this is unfounded. Hates working for the government and refuses to wear a costume. Only got into 'heroing' for the thrills, this thrill seeking often gets him in trouble.

Real Name: Trent Caldwell
Age: 19
Power(s): Gauntlets allow him to manipulate the magnetic field
(brief) History: Son of a wealthy weapons manufacturer, who spent his entire childhood idolising super heroes. When his father tried to teach him responsibility by giving him control over a project, He used this chance to create his gauntlets. After paying off a couple of his friends to be his nemesis, the media saw his exploits and labeled him a hero. His father was so proud.

Once again thanks to all for the feedback it ups my confidence and gets me to keep on lol. Sorry for the hiatus, works a real problem and school starts back up next week and will only make things worse just have to manage my time better i guess, well with out further ado...

(before and after a fight, to give you an idea of his methods)

Real Name: Dr. James Bradley
Age: Early to mid 30's
Power(s): Extensive medical knowledge (used in combat/interrogation), good fighter, utilizes drug laced scalpels.
(brief) History: An inner city doctor, sick of gang related violence. The last straw was the loss of a young girl accidentally hit in a drive by. Now over the deep end, James armed himself with hallucinogenic laced scalpels and set out to cure the city's ills.

Real Name: Stan Carter, #13
Age: 28
Power(s): Super human strength, endurance and durability, Flight
(brief) History: Only member of the Warriors Project (an attempt to replace Captain Victory, as he was on in his years, 100+) not to go rogue. He dose not remember his past at all and the name Stan carter was just a false name to go along with a false back ground. He has a great deal of guilt as he was not strong enough to aid his "father" in his final battle against the other members of Project warrior.

still not done with Hephaestus but i figured id upload my Avatar, Sgt. Frog! so he should be up in the next hour or two, also, expect more frogs.

Real Name: Isaac Schultz
Age: 25
Power(s): Cybernetic body grants increased strength, resistance to injury, flight, and a large array of weapons.
(brief) History: Once know as Apollo Schultz for both his good looks and how "his inventions brought light to the world." He lost that nickname after a plane crash left him disfigured and amputee. Embittered but still determined to make the world a better place he became the cyborg hero Hephaestus

ok so i honestly HATE that Hephaestus, its crappy, rushed, and nothing like the character i created when i revamped him originally. but i got some spare time today (and i also stayed up to 3 in the morning) so i made the real one so here he is

Real Name: N/A
Age: 3*
Power(s): Body emits a strange energy. Able to fire it, forge weapons and barriers out of it, and propel himself into flight
(brief) History: Created by Professor Caldwell (Magno's father) to convince his son to give up the super hero business, but when it attacked he easily defeated it, and reprogrammed it. Doing so allowed it to think for itself as it was sentient. It joined the newly formed hero team that Magno was a member of, just, made sure to stay clear of him during battles

Definitely like the newer Heph, especially the powered up look!

On Doctor Nemesis- the blood splatter on the shirt, which is tucked into the pants, would seem to imply that the pants should be splattered as well. Or did he change his pants after whacking some guy?

Frog" ill be opening a request thread related to this in that section if any one is interested

So like many of you here i have my own super hero, in fact i have several (Including the ones my siblings, girlfriend, and brother in law have created) i have made micros of most of them and would like to share them. I will start with my own, Silverfish.


Characters History: As a kid i watched a lot of Saturday morning cartoons, and a great deal of them had something in common, Spider-man, the tick, beetleborgs, all insects. So i figured a bug was the way to go, i cracked open an encyclopedia (these things we use to have before wikipedia), and the first one a came across that i was unfamiliar with was the silverfish and that's how it all started.
First Origin: Originally, he was just some guy in a silver suit with antennas that could "fight and jump around real good". When i 'remembered him' in high school i gave him a better origin.
Second Origin: Edmond Nolan had worked in his grandfather's used book store since he was sixteen and had spent every day from open to close reading. The store was nice, but still infested with pest, Ed found himself especially afraid of the silverfish but had gotten over this fear in recent years. One day Ed came in to find the store wrecked, the place had been robed, the crook got away with no more than a few hundred dollars, and his grandfather's life. Enraged and seeking vengeance he used his inheritance and knowledge gathered from years of reading to construct a personal body armor modeled after what he felt would strike fear, the horrific looking silverfish.
Powers: Eidetic memory (granting vast knowledge, including combat and detective skills) Power suit (enhances durability and strength; flight and mind-link controled razor blade antenna)
