Thanks guys!!! You are the greatest!!! No Joke. I am actually pleased with the way Cap turned out but not quite happy with Wolvie. May go back and redo him. Any other thoughts on Marvel's you would like to see?

Kind of a weird post to make, but I wanted to make sure I made it since I was always proud of how much people dug Cap's posts and Micros.

I am a friend of Wes's (Cap) out in the real, non-cyber world, and we were informed today that he didn't make it through a surgery he had today due to issues with pancreatitis.

I came to this board one day on his behest to check out some of the work that he had been doing, and I really dug it and was really impressed with how many other people on the board really dug his work too. He even did a few Micros of me as a Green Lantern, which have been my avatars on various message boards since. Dude was a really good friend, and really talented at this, and I just kind of wanted to give him a proper send off, I guess.

and the few words i changed with him it sounded like he was a very fun person to hang out with

Oh man...thats just...its weird yknow. I never met the guy. Didnt even know his name and yet you feel you know someone in a sense. From what I 'knew' of him he really was a humble guy. A kind man who genuinally seemed to appreciate others' interests as well as his own y'know. He didnt work just for praise but clearly for enjoyment. I mean I realise my words are little consolation and that I didnt really know him but what he exuded was the sense he was a real gent.
I guess I cant say more than that other than I missed him when he was away from the boards and I guess thats a missing that will carry on. I can't begin to imagine what it was like for those he shared his life with.
