That's truly amazing indeed. About 'laying down CC' I wouldn't play the parrot and say the same thing about the shading cause as you told me if that's the way you prefer then it's all good, but one thing I noticed concerns the horn located at the upper most left of the screen, it looks misplaced. What do you think?

Mm. Now that you point it out, it does seem as though it is too thick, or should be behind the head part on the top there..Idunno, I'm bad at CC

Yes kelly, I do use a wacom, but I can also use a mouse just as well (just takes me a little longer) This was done half and half. The face and part of the neck was done with the mouse and the rest the wacom.

Fancy, so you're like a better me..I used to make dollz and all I have is a mouse. I had some good lookin' stuff back then

I do wish I had a wacom though. It would definitely be interesting to post some of my art up here XD

You and Kelly are both indeed correct. xD There is a problem with that one horn. It SHOULD be behind one of those head scales though, and I need a more...angled perspective to give the illusion that it's pointing away and not just flat.

Thank you for pointing it out. While I highly doubt that I'llbe going back to edit it any time soon (if at all) it will be somthing I'll keep in mind for my next project ^^

I really do like how it came out, though I feel something like that should be signed. I dunno, just seems something like that is like "pro status" and should be signed. Keep it up!

Not really, microes would be a specific sub-category in the world on pixel art. Certain shading, shaping, etc techniques in one style might not work in another.

Not really, microes would be a specific sub-category in the world on pixel art. Certain shading, shaping, etc techniques in one style might not work in another.

mmm not really...that would mean anything that abel made is not a micro or those big ben x aliens that AC is so crazy about ain't a micro either, then theres sever's microes those arent either, lets not forget about juancho and KC, or any macro that santi makes not those either, then there was devan's old batman microes those are out too, or what about the ones that txf drew drew not microes either guess not, kelly's new temp is out i guess also, omar's last temps hmmm no not either, seadragon? hah those wouldnt be microes either, oh and then theres every micro with a background, not to forget the piece im currently working on either, oh and lastly any microes you used abel's techniques on......hmmm i think its best if we just said that anything that wasnt made on robert bradley's original temp it isnt a microhero...right?

get the point. I think by labeling something pixel art instead of a mico is loosing sight of the forest for the trees.

You can harp on all you want, if DS is asking me if i consider that a micro, the answer is no, plain and simple. At least most of the ones you've mentioned feature a few of the same common elements of micros, but on these pieces, im not seeing it, maybe the robot on the first page, but certainly not the last two. I really dont care what you consider a micro, im just giving my two cents.

Although i dont want to sound like im demeaning the work, DS, they're really well done, and im sure you put a lot of work into them. Also I've seen your Deviantart page, and its clear to see you got talent.

Thank you very much Alex, for letting me know. I'll be sure to get specific details at to what makes a Micro a Micro, and then post them in the proper place ^^ Your comments are also greatly appreciated.

Happy Birfday joey. Sorry his feets are all screwy.

this is a truly epic piece, though i dont think that many here would consider it a "microhero", its still amazing none the less. the nose could use a tad bit of work and the right (my right not his) looks a tad bit funny. the firer and fur and coat are done very well and i like the worn look of the sword. I think the part that could be most considered as "micro shading" is the lil guyz' hair. I love it and i'm sure joey will also. Hats off and keep it up.

Yeah I don't think it is a micro but it is pixel art still non the less. Very good work on it though.
