bad news

My uncle had sergery tonight, they went in and placed 3 stints. When they did they collapsed 6 arteries. He went from a tannish color to a sickly yellow to white.
After they worked on him, they cleared him to leave. But in a couple of weeks he needs a quadruple bipass surgery. And they don't think he will survive it.

Wow dude, nobody deserves a surgery fail...Let's hope your uncle will recover quickly enough to face the other surgery and succeed. Be positive!

I might be gone for a week at the most. Today my uncle had another heart attack and is in the hospital. The medican they gave him made his blood thin and if they operated he wouldbleed out. So they are waiting till they are ou of system.

Here is an update.
He is sceduled to be operated on tommorrow, but the doctors classify him as hig risk. He had so many heart attacks since they first operated on him (3) and during the operation itself (2). And they are hissatent to operate on him because he could have an anerisym, a heart attack, or just slip away.

I have news, I wont be gone like I thought. But they are taking 1 vein from my uncle's right leg and 2 veins from his left to be placed in his heart. They are going to operate on him tommorrow for about 4 hours. They will cut from the top of the brest plate to just above the navel. Then use a chest cracker and split his chest plate and operate through that way. His doctor told him he could pass during the operation because his heart is really bad.

Sorry for being away for abit.
Friday night I went to stay at the hospital and stayed until today. They gave him the wrong medicane, and his doctor was avoiding himuntil his replacement came on duty. He was taken to CCU ward because his medicane was blocking his fluids and causing it to stay on his lungs. But he was doing better today, he might be taken out to a new room later tonight.
After being taken off the meds he got a whole lot better.

HA! Now you must change the post title to "good news".

Well he went a turn for the worse. I aint got any details but he is not doing that good today.

That sucks large Omnis. I can't beleive Doctors today make amateur mistakes like that and then don't have the guts to stand-up for their mistakes.

My wife and I just recently went through a similar situation, it's never fun.

Well he aint better. We almost had him signed out but when the doctors checked him he had turned green in his stitches and the wiring they did to reseal his chestplate broke off in him and now they have to go in and redo the wiring and hopefully this time it'll heal and not brake off.

He is doing alot better. He was walking and they put some stuffing in his chest and they are going in tuesday morning to finish working on his chest so he can come home around friday.

Things aren't going well. The doctors had to operate on him this morning and they found out his chest has sunk in and his plate is really bad. The doctors say it wont really heal and if it calousus over it will be week. There is a possibility if he makes it out of the recovery he will be probably bed redin because he could snap that bone in half real easily. The cause is either the carlessness of the doctors or his psycho wife, whos been trying to make him have one of his panick attacks so he could have a stroke and die. (she told him that)

He ran her off 2 times because of her antics at the hospital and a week later he asked her to come back then she atarted to get his stuff and was giving away his tools, and tried to get him to sign her the titles of all his cars. She was going to sell them and buy a new one for her son because he wrapped the drivers side around a tree. My grandmother ran her off after that. She has been gone for awhile then last week the security had to escort her off the premisis.
