I've been thinking I need to change my avatar. My Elf micro was fine during December but it's the middle of the summer now (I could say it's a "Christmas in July" thing but that doesn't help me when it becomes August)!

I just don't know what to change it to.

How about a medieval warrior, like I usually go for...? Maybe not as "bloodied" as mine is now, heh...

That could be a possibility. But if I going for real life version of summer me, it wouldn't be all that different then any other times of the year version of myself. I don't go outside all that much & hardly ever tan so the chances of me a sun burn is less likely.

This has been brought up to me from time to time. I have thought about it. I've even tried to make one a few times. I just have never made one I liked enough to finish/post it.

The closet I've ever gotten to have a "talking beaver" as my avatar was a micro hero Emissary made me once that I used for a while.

I could do that but I try to keep my avatar separate my projects most times. The elf micro is sort of an exception since it's a micro of myself (sort of).

I could do that but I'd assume by this time of the year He'd already be back on the job preparing for the Christmas season.

Over in the Your Universe section of the board, Orkie has been creating a quite interesting version the Marvel Universe & I hope he doesn't mind that I decided to try my hand of recreating a few of his designs.


Captain America III (Rick Jones), Iron Man II (Happy Hogan) & Thunderstrike (Eric Masterson).

I'll probably make a few of the characters from his universe. If you haven't checked out gallery I would suggest that you do.

I was actually thinking the other day whether you may have a take to make on this. So glad we are seeing these. I love seeing alternate versions everyone makes and its a double treat to see your alternate versions of those
