| Everytime a good peice of wrestling news comes along my way I'll post it here.
News: For those of you who watched last Monday's RAW edition, you might be asking who was chasing the individual in the the tiger outfit that interrupted the guest host in the first segment and was seen later on in the show.
Now, the character who was a blond woman, is a former ECW backstage interviewer named Courtney Taylor. Courtney did her first interview as the newest member of the ECW crew when she spoke to ECW original Tommy Dreamer backstage.
Beverly Mullins (better known by her wrestling name; Courtney Taylor) has become a member of the Florida Championship Wrestling organization after leaving ECW some time ago where she did only a brief debut. At FCW she was first involved in a series of appearances with another familiar WWE Diva, Tiffany (Taryn Terrell). The two competed in lingerie contest for FCW, until Tiffany eventually was called up and now serves as the ECW General Manager.
Courtney Taylor (Beverly Mullins) changed her in ring name to Daisy and became a valet for FCW wrestler Alex Riley. She also began competing at FCW as of March 2008, and went up against the likes of Rosa Mendes, the Bella Twins and Alicia Fox, who are all now part of the WWE.
In addition to WWE, she's been featured in Playboy Magazine several times. She's a former Hooters girl and was in the Playboy's Women of Hooters 2008 issue in February 2008. She's been featured in a Hooters YouTube pillow fight and claims her idol growing up was Stone Cold Steve Austin.
In WWE, Courtney will serve as an on-air personality. It is still unknown whether we will see her fighting on the ring.
----------------
Background: After being called 'Piggie James', WWE Diva Mickie James was again verbally attack when Matt Striker directed comments regarding her appearance some week ago during RAW.
Matt Striker was commenting on the Divas' evening gowns when he said: "Well, I know Kelly Kelly is wearing Vera Wang. I believe Maria might be wearing Gloria Vanderbilt. Mickie James is of course wearing T.J. Maxx." A few moments later, he followed up his initial comment with the following, "Think Mickie's wearing Lane Bryant?"
News: It is being reported that WWE wrestlers think that Mickie James, who has had her weight mocked in recent weeks, is leaving WWE when her contract expires. Rumors say that Mickie wants to leave to fully pursue a career in country music.
Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding this but many believe that these personal shots towards Mickie is a storyline to be followed by a "send-off".
--------------------
Background: TNA has been using the distinctive 6-sided ring for a long time making it the only professional wrestling federation in the U.S.A to use it. This 6-sided ring has become a popular feature of TNA with matches such as the Six Sides of Steel being developed for this ring.
News: According to PWInsider.com, the 6-sided ring may be short-lived as both Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are working and putting pressure on TNA to remove the 6-sided ring and go back to the traditional 4-sided ring.
The development plans TNA is planning to do to it's arenas may be the ideal time for Hulk and Bischoff to promote this change but nothing has been confirmed from TNA.
------------------
TNA has apparently been looking all over the place for fresh blood recently, and have mainly been seeking out big name stars from the last several years. But it appears they have turned their attention to a former WWE jobber, rather than big name. The company is apparently in pursuit of Ricky Ortiz. Ortiz has been accepting bookings ever since his release from the WWE back in August, but hasn't wrestled many matches. One appearance he did make shortly after leaving WWE, was on World Wrestling Council, where his character and look had been drastically changed. TNA has apparently been showing interest over the past couple of weeks, and have been considering offering a contract.
-----------------
According to the source, at this week's ECW and Smackdown tapings, a new female wrestler received a tryout. Her name is Sakota Snuka, and she is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. Nothing is currently known on how her tryout went. | |

" Cash is being held on $10,000 bond in a Washington County detention center in Tennessee and is scheduled to go before the court on 1/4/10. " ----------------------

One of WWE's doctors, David Chao, who is the doctor of many WWE superstars such as Rey Mysterio Jr. is facing a libel filed by 'The State Medical Board for Unprofessional Conduct and Alcohol Abuse'.
The complaints originate from driving accidents that Chao was involved in whilst drug back in 1995 and 2006.
Chao is also being accused of a knee replacement surgery which went so wrong that the patient had to have it amputated. He was also fined for not maintaining patient medical records as supposed to and for writing narcotic prescriptions against the law.

| Shannon Spruill (a.k.a. Daffney), 34, recently got engaged. It would be the TNA Knockout's second marriage. Her first husband was Rich Ward, who is the lead guitarist for Chris Jericho's heavy metal band "Fozzy." -- TNA president Dixie Carter watched this past Sunday's Final Resolution pay-per-view se ated alongside Orlando Magic point guard Jason Williams. TNA's account on Facebook posted the following video message from the NBA star where he proclaims his love for the show and says he can't wait to see the next one on January 4th with Hulk Hogan. -- Velvet Sky and April Hunter have apparently made amends after working Monday's iMPACT! taping in Orlando together. The TNA Knockout posted a candid photo of herself with Hunter backstage at the show with a caption reading "Truce!!!! " Click here to see the image of the two looking super hot backstage at the iMPACT! taping on Monday. Before joining TNA, Sky, whose real name is Jamie Szantyr, formed a tag team with Hunter known as T&A — which was apparently a spoof on "Divas." The group gained notoriety and worked a number of independent shows together over the course of 2005 and 2006. However, in late 2006, the two best friends had a really ugly split that eventually spilled over online with both women's wrestlers personally attacking each other through various blog posts. Apparently, the two had not spoken to each other since their break-up. -- TNA officials met with executives from Spike last week. One source described it as routine meeting that the two parties have a few times a year. Although, TNA and Spike also met following the Hulk Hogan press conference in New York City a few weeks ago, and with all the talk regarding big plans in the new year, the assumption is that it was more than just a typical meeting. -- Jeff Wilen of The Daytona Beach News-Journal recently conducted an interview with Daniels, who competed in a World title match this past Sunday at Final Resolution. Daniels discusses his history with AJ Styles, turning heel, his ring name, past injuries, and more. -- According to The Sports Courier, Scott Hall has in fact signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. The website's source states Hall, who is now 51, will return to the organization during its live three-hour broadcast on Monday, January 4, 2010. | |

| According to 'The Wrestling Observer', Bret Hart is not coming alone to WWE. Teddy Hart is telling his friends and other people close to him that he will be signing to WWE like his uncle, Bret. ------ Nothing about this news has been confirmed by WWE but people he works with in Mexico do not believe that his stay with WWE would be long lived if this move comes through. Teddy Hart is known for not obeying orders and having a poor attitude, which is the reason for getting fired by WWE back in 2007. Despite being very talented in the ring, Teddy Hart lacks the psychological ring skills needed to work for a company like WWE. -------- Along with him, it is reported that Teddy Hart wants to bring Jack Evans into WWE but the wrestling federation the latter currently works for, Asistencia, Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) values Evans highly and thus it is unlikely that they will lift him off his two years left on his contract. | |

| TNA President Dixie Carter has announced on her Twitter page that TNA has signed indy standout tag team The Young Bucks. She thanked the fans for their input on the team and said that they show great potential. Dixie noted: Proud to report TNA has signed the Young Bucks. Thanks to all of you for the input on them. They show great potential. ----------- Following a tryout this past Sunday night in Florida, World Wrestling Entertainment has signed the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Sarona Snuka. | |

| According to The Sports Courier, chances are high that former WWE performers Ken Anderson, Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman will be debuting on tomorrow night's three-hour iMPACT broadcast.
In the case of Anderson, there is a 95% chance that the former "Mr. Kennedy" will make his TNA debut tomorrow night. However, in the event he does not appear, "he will in the very near future."
Regarding Heyman, they were told there is a 75% chance, if not better, that he will debut in TNA. I can confirm that Heyman has indeed had discussions with TNA officials in recent months — though he'd probably deny them if asked.
As has been speculated by numerous websites, Rob Van Dam appears to be headed to TNA. The Sports Courier feels there is a 70% chance of RVD showing up tomorrow night.
It's also noted that Scott Hall is pretty much a lock to appear tomorrow night, as is Sean Waltman. -------- Hulk Hogan will be taking part in a media blitz Monday morning to promote tomorrow night's history making episode of iMPACT!. The WWE Hall of Famer is scheduled to call in to The BJ Shea Morning Experience on 99.9 KISW ("The Rock of Seattle") tomorrow morning at 6:50 a.m. PST to promote the live show and he will be addressing the disparaging comments WWE star CM Punk said about him on The BJ Shea Morning Experience before the holiday break.
Here is what Punk said regarding TNA and "The Hulkster":
"My take is first of all that we have Tribute to the Troops on Saturday. That's probably going to be a much better show than whatever TNA is going to put on.
I have a lot of friends that work there and I do watch the show, but I seem to watch it on perpetual fast forward. I hope, I really hope that something comes of it.
I have zero faith in Hulk Hogan as a man who is what? 60 years old and tries to dress like he's 18 and lives on the Jersey Shore.
For a guy I've never met, I've formulated enough opinions about him just from being around him and like his business acumen and stuff like that, I really trust that he's not in this for TNA and he's not in this for the business. He's in this for himself.
Hulk Hogan, I hope you prove me wrong. I hope there's competition because when there's competition we step up, everybody makes more money, and I think it makes the business healthier and that's what I'm looking forward to, but I don't have much hope."
You can listen to his comments at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOxTmRiOa2E
The BJ Shea Morning Experience plans on running said audio by Hogan tomorrow morning to get his reaction. ----------- The following is a new tweet from the official Twitter page of Jeff Hardy:
"Hell yeah Gonna roll with my boy @TheShannonBrand to FLA to put in a good word & check out tha show."
Jeff Hardy will be backstage at the show but he is NOT expected to return to the company. You can bet Hogan and others will make an offer though. It should also be noted that WWE wants Jeff back to work a WrestleMania 26 match against CM Punk so we'll see. --------------- Reminder: There will be a LIVE WZR Radio special tonight from 8-10EST. We're going to have a major debate with you guys over which promotion is better - WWE or TNA. We'll be taking your live phone calls all night long to discuss this. We'll also talk about TNA vs. WWE tomorrow night, UFC 108, Dr. Death, and so much more! We'll post live media and chatroom links on the main newsboard around 7EST tonight. Check back then and join us!!
Spike TV, home of TNA iMPACT!, are expected to announce a new reality series next week, focused on midget wrestlers.
To be called Half-Pint Brawlers, the half-hour show will focus on Puppet, who rejoices in the epithet "The Psycho Dwarf", and a stable of "psycho midget" wrestlers as they travel the country putting on wrestling shows and dealing with a world made for bigger people. ----------- According to his website, Rob van Dam will not be appearing on iMPACT! tomorrow night. Here's what he had to say:
"This Monday kicks off the new ratings war between WWE and TNA-like I have to tell you! I admit, I am interested in the hype. In fact, I feel like I'm involved with this new era just because of the ginormous rumors involving me and a return. I'm going to say this-even though I know it won't do much good-don't be mad at me that you tuned in to see your favorite wrestler and I wasn't there. I'm going to be watching with you." ---------- As noted earlier, former WWE superstar Jeff Hardy wrote on Twitter that he and his girlfriend will be driving to Orlando, Florida on Monday to attend the live 3-hour TNA iMPACT! Jeff wrote, "Gonna roll with my boy @TheShannonBrand to FLA to put in a good word & check out tha show." TNA President Dixie Carter commented on the news of Jeff Hardy attending iMPACT. She wrote, "Heard Jeff Hardy is going to crash the party tomorrow. Everyone is welcome!!! Gonna be fun."
-- At this point, it looks like Hardy will just be traveling to iMPACT! with Moore tomorrow and isn't set to be an actual part of the show.
-- It should be noted that WWE officials were eying a match between CM Punk and a returning Jeff Hardy at WrestleMania XXIV. At the time of Hardy's departure this past summer, the impression given would be that he would return for a match with Punk at WrestleMania. Though movement has not yet been made, some within the company expect Hardy to return to build the program. One potential barrier is Hardy's ongoing drug-related case on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steroids. With Linda McMahon's political aspirations still ongoing, the feeling is that WWE would not bring him back until his case gets put to rest. --------- Gary Cantrel of The Shoot radio show sent out the following recap of Hulk Hogan's party at Margaritaville in Orlando.
The event did start promptly at five. There was quite a line to go into the Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville restaurant. The event was being held on the 2nd floor which filled up real quick. They were letting only a number of people up at a time. I just happened to be at the front of the line at one point when they filled up so I was outside for quite a while. There were two camera crews filming the entire event. The Spike TV/TNA crew and the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show crew who film material for his website and DVDs.
Several people showed up and greeted fans waiting outside. First up was Eric Bischoff, who had his own personal camera man. It wasn't a large camera so it could be footage for his own personal website. He was definitely very polite to everyone while in front of the camera. He went through pretty much the whole line and took photos with people.
Next up was Scott Hall, who came over with someone, was probably a manager or friend or something. He too was taking pictures with the fans outside.
Vince Russo also checked out the line. He seemed very polite and talked with some of the fans.
The Spike TV/TNA crew came back to the front this time with Bubba the Love Sponge. He is doing the interviews. They first filmed Hogan coming outside with Bischoff and Scott Hall. Bubba did several interviews with fans.
Later on after we got inside of the building, they had a ton more lights and Jeremy Borash was inside with cameras pumping the crowd up. They did several shots with fans chanting various things such as "TNA" and "Hogan." They had Bubba interviewing more fans. After they recorded the footage and some additional B-Roll they thanked the fans for coming out. | |

| It is now confirmed that Melina has indeed torn her ACL and may require surgery, although it may not be as bad as first thought. ======== According to the source, WWE Diva Mickie James, who's real name is Alexis Laree, will be releasing her first country music album in March. Her first song off the album is set to come out next month. Laree has some background in music, as she played the violin in high school, and has written songs, poetry, and stories her whole life. In a recent interview, she had this to say about her new career:
"As in any entertainment industry, you have to see the sheep in wolf's clothing and you have to be able to differentiate who's being real and who's just hopping on board for all the wrong reasons. Lucky for me, I'm very blessed to have come across some really, really good people and gotten them on my team." ========== Although he put his notice in a while back, Shane McMahon has offically left the company.
His contract with WWE expired January 1st, 2010.
With Shane's Tenure now over, WWE is now down to 2 McMahons. =========== It was announced on the WWE website yesterday that James Roday and Dule Hill, the stars of the USA program "Psych", will be hosting the January 25th episode of Monday Night Raw, in Columbus, Ohio. They will likely be hyping the season premiere of their show on the 27th, which will feature a guest star appearance by WWE star John Cena. | |

| After a shocking appearance by Jeff Hardy at Monday's TNA iMPACT! tapings, TNAWrestlingNews.com has confirmed that the former WWE Champion has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. Here are some of the key details to this story:
- Jeff Hardy is now a full-time member of the TNA roster and will be working a regular television and PPV schedule.
- The main reason Jeff Hardy jumped to TNA is the work schedule and is at the point where he doesn't want to deal with the grueling WWE travel schedule. In TNA, he can still remain a top star in the industry and make great money while working and traveling far less.
-- On iMPACT!, we saw Jeff Hardy attack X-Division star Homicide. A feud between the two appears to be in the works. "Anything could change and I could do something else or Jeff could do something else at the TV tapings on Tuesday, and I think it would be a great match-up of Jeff Hardy vs. Homicide. I'm really hoping it will happen," Homicide said on the "Right After Wrestling" radio program on SIRIUS channel 98.
-- Jeff Hardy was in meetings with Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter throughout the day on Monday ironing out the terms of his agreement. Its believed that nothing was locked up until Jeff's visit to Orlando on Monday.
-- Hardy's drug charges from September 11 are still pending. He will be back in court on January 27 for probable cause hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to take Hardy's case to the next level. ------------ Jeff Hardy's drug arrest went before the Grand Jury yesterday in Moore County, North Carolina. The Grand Jury found that there was enough evidence to indict Hardy, and the case will now move to superior court. Hardy's case is expected to be set on the docket within the next week.
Hardy was originally set for a probable cause hearing on January 27th for his September 2009 drug charges. The hearing would have determined whether there was enough evidence regarding the arrest to go on the Grand Jury. The hearing is not required, and it appears as if prosecutors have opted to move the case along through the Grand Jury.
Hardy's was arrested for the following charges on 9.11.09:
*Felony possession of cocaine. *Felony drug trafficking of opium *Felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III drug (two counts). *Maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution. *Possession of drug paraphernalia. (misdemeanor) --------------- -- WWE has announced via Twitter that William Shatner will be the guest host of Raw on February 1.
-- You can follow recently departed WWE star Tommy Dreamer on Twitter as he has launched an account at http://www.twitter.com/thetommydreamer A few WWE stars have confirmed the account is Dreamer via their own accounts. In related news, the WWE website removed his bio from the ECW section this morning and placed it in the Alumni section. ------------- -- Ted DiBiase will be signing signs copies of The Marine 2 DVD tomorrow in Chicago. His appearance is located at f.y.e. 26 East Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601-3604.
-- The WWE website has posted studio photos of Michelle McCool and Layla donning "Piggie James" tanktops.
-- Rosa Mendes is today's "Daily Diva" on WWE.com while Vance Archer is the "Superstar of the Day."
-- The fan who came out from the crowd in the CM Punk segment to be "saved" during last night's Smackdown taping was Ted McNailer of OVW. ----------- -- There will be a Smackdown and ECW taping on February 23rd at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI. The pre-sale code is BATISTA. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM local time today.
-- The Washington Post is reporting that Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd (D) will not seek re-election. Richard Blumenthal, the state's popular attorney general, will likely run for his seat now. This may be bad news for Linda McMahon. Connecticut is Democratic state, but Dodd was not that popular in the state, and many felt that this year a Republican candidate would win.
-- TMZ is running a story on Roddy Piper's daughter, Ariel Toombs, who nearly got hit by a bus after stepping out of her car.
-- During clips for the new season of Chuck, which airs on NBC, they are showing clips of Steve Austin's guest appearance. ------------ While flipping channels this past Monday night, former WWE performer Tammy Sytch (a.k.a. Sunny) came upon RAW and put up a status update on her Facebook page noting how chubby The Bella Twins got over the holidays.
Sytch exclaimed, "I saw back fat!"
At least in the case of Nikki Bella, who accompanied Brie for her match against Maryse on Monday's show, she wore a much-too-tight bikini top which caused her back skin to noticeably fold. It was so noticeable that it could even be seen from WWE's distant camera angle during her sister's match.
Her disparaging remarks garnered much feedback from her Facebook followers and she added maybe she wouldn't have called them chubby had they been nicer to her at WrestleMania. If you recall, both Sytch and the Bellas took part in the 25-Diva battle royal that took place at the event.
Sytch continued: "I only said they look chubby, i didnt call them obese slobs...christ dude, get over it. And maybe if they were a little nicer at Wrestlemania, I wouldnt call them chubby either...but theres no excuse for any of those girls in their early 20's to get a little chubby... wait til ... See Morethey hit 35 and everything slows the fuck down..then what??? They are getting paid to look a certain way... If I was there right now, I'd weigh 118 fucking skinny ass pounds again!!"
Considering Sytch battled her own weight in the past (as well as the criticism that some fans heaped on her as a result of her ballooned appearance), it would appear hypocritical for her to poke fun at the Bellas' bodies. However, she said it was "a medical reason," and wants to know their excuse.
"Hey, at least I had a medical reason for gaining weight...whats their's? too much partying and pastry?" ------------ TNA officials and Spike TV executives were thrilled with the iMPACT rating numbers that came in yesterday. As previously reported, iMPACT! drew a 1.5 overall rating (2.2 million viewers) with the show peaking at a 1.9 rating (2.5 million viewers) for start of hour 2, featuring the debut of Hulk Hogan.
TNA President Dixie Carter wrote the following on her Twitter yesterday:
"Thank you, thank you for helping TNA set RECORD ratings in every way last night. We ALL won."
There is now serious discussion within TNA of putting on a weekly Monday night show head-to-head with WWE's RAW. The most likely scenario we've heard would be TNA iMPACT! running from 8-10pm ET, only going head-to-head with RAW for 1 hour.
In an update from last night's TNA iMPACT spoilers, Hulk Hogan did in fact appear in a backstage segment. Jeff Hardy was not at last night's iMPACT tapings. Following the ratings success of Monday's 3-hour live TNA iMPACT!, TNA Wrestling may have gotten what it needs to secure a weekly Monday night timeslot.
TNA star Kevin Nash commented on his Twitter page about the possibility of iMPACT! permanently moving to Monday nights. Nash wrote:
"I think going head 2 head every monday is in the works.Spike was happy with the ratings.special 4 me to be back with the band, great night!!!" ------------ -- The WWE website has posted a video of Chris Jericho talking about how he's not happy about being kicked off RAW. During the segment, he runs into Kelly Kelly and tells her he will be on next week's show to bully the guest host into giving him what he wants.
-- On her Twitter account (http://twitter.com/MariaLKanellis), Maria said she plans on releasing her music via iTunes this coming April.
-- Here is the synopsis for WWE's upcoming three-disc DVD set on Shawn Michaels, titled My Journey: "The Heartbreak Kid is one of the most celebrated and talented superstars in the history of Sports Entertainment. Shawn Michaels' career has spanned more than 25 years and has produced one great match after another, earning him his "Showstopper" moniker. Now fans can relive this superlative career with "Shawn Michaels: His 25 Greatest Matches", a 3-disc set with more than nine hours of matches. This DVD presents Michaels' great bouts from every phase of his life, from early tag-team matches as a member of the Rockers through his highly decorated championship reigns. The matches include new commentary and reflections from the Showstopper himself, as well as partners and adversaries throughout the years." This product will be released on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. -------------- The WWE Studios film Knucklehead, starring the Big Show, will be released in theaters on April 23rd. WWE will begin the promotional push for the film around WrestleMania 26.
The WWE Studios film My Brother's Keeper, starring John Cena, is currently filming in New Orleans.
The next WWE Studios film will be called Big Red. The film is described as a "coming of age comedy about a kid in the 1960s".
WWE and Mattell are doing a new promotion for the new WWE Mattel action figure line. At different WWE events, a booth will be set up, where fans can take a picture inside a life-sized action figure case, posing as an action figure. They will then receive a code, and can go online to get the photo.
Mark Henry, Kane, MVP, Chris Jericho, The Great Khali and Big Show will all appear in the SNL parody film MacGruber. They will play henchmen in the movie, which will see The Big Show "make out with another man". Chris Jericho is the only WWE star to have a speaking role in the film. MacGruber will be released on April 16th. --------------- While all reports on Tuesday suggested Jeff Hardy signed a deal with TNA, there is at least some skepticism from those close to the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
According to some within Hardy’s inner circle, there is a belief that his appearance on Monday’s iMPACT! was similar to the original Bobby Lashley debut in that he was put on television without a written contract.
Though some still maintain Hardy signed with TNA for the short-term, a portion of insiders believe it was a one-shot deal. There is also an intermediate group holding that Hardy did not sign a written commitment to appear in future but went on television with a verbal understanding that he would indeed return for future broadcasts.
It should be noted that Hardy drove back home to North Carolina on Tuesday and was not backstage at the TNA tapings later that night. Of course, he was indicted by a grand jury earlier in the day on Monday so that may have had something to do with it. As I noted several days ago, North Carolina drug laws are very strict. Time to lawyer up Jeff! ------------ Hulk Hogan called into the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show this morning I did not catch the last part of the interview, but here is what I did hear:
He and Bubba talked about the Terrordome match and Hulk said that when he and Bubba were in the production meeting the day before, about 10 people said there was a decent door to the cage. He then got to the soundstage and found out it had no real door and that none of the wrestlers could climb out of the top, hence the DQ finish. There were plans for a big bump off the cage but it just was not possible. He and Bubba agreed that the Terrordome needs to be scraped for good.
About Jim Cornette: Bubba played Hulk some of the Who's Slamming Who podcast and Hulk said that he did not know Jim was so bitter. He said Jim has a good mind for the business and that he had plans for Jim to do something in TNA, but he does not need that negative attitude in there right now. Bubba made the comment that after the rating they got on Monday, Hulk needs to say what needs to be said and not be afraid to step on some toes.
About Mondays nights: Hulk says they have kinda dropped the ball by taping a Thursday show the day after going live and that right after he hangs up with Bubba he is gonna call Dixie Carter, Eric Bischoff and the people at Spike and tell them that they need to be on Mondays live from now on. He says he knows that it will cost a ton of money but you gotta spend money to make money. Hulk says that he will get Vince's audience a bit at a time just like he did in WCW.
Hulk Says he talked to Bob Carter and Bob made the comment that Hulk knew what he was doing and that they needed a bigger building.
Bubba said that they are working on a deal to make nice with the "Bubba Army" based on what happened on Monday with the tickets and it sounded like they wanna rent a big building and run a free taping with only the Bubba Army being let in. --------------- -- There were a few edits in Fox 8's version of the WWE RAW replay in Australia. Michael Cole's blunder of the infamous Montreal Screwjob was edited out, for example. Instead, they edited it to say "November, 1997," editing Cole's confusion of the day it was on. For those wondering, it actually occurred on November 9, 1997, not November 7, 1997 as Cole stated. Additionally, Chris Jericho's mocking of Hulk Hogan was completely edited off the broadcast.
-- Former WWE and TNA star Booker T appeared on the Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network recently and addressed rumors swirling online of him making his return to WWE at the Royal Rumble. Here is what he said: "I had no plans of being on either show. Right now, I'm taking a little time off and seeing exactly which way I want to go. Wrestling has been very good to me on both the WWE side and the TNA side, so right now, I'm just taking some time off.

Big thanks to the little 17 year old girl who rear ended me today! My poor bumper." She also tweeted: ""What a way 2 end the year. Oh well. Snap happens. Might as well go out with a bang! 2010 james gang is in 2 win! 1 question... R u with me?!" Click here to see a photo of Mickie's wrecked vehicle. | |

-- Today is Raw Superstar Chris Masters' birthday. "The Masterpiece" turns 27 years old. ------------ TNAWrestling.com announced that Twilight star Booboo Stewart will write a column for their website. Here is the announcement…
Next week, TNAwrestling.com will debut a new interview-based column to be written by Booboo Stewart, one of the stars of the popular "Twilight" movie sagas. The 15 year old teen sensation is taking Hollywood by storm and was recently named as the star to watch in 2010 by Twist Magazine. We are excited to have Booboo aboard as he is said to be the next big thing and is also a huge fan of professional wrestling.
Since he was 3, Booboo has always been one who loves action as he began training in karate and several years later, he and his two of his sisters (Maegan and Fivel) went on to be inducted in to the Jr. Black Belt Hall of Fame as well as all three winning World championships in all Divisions two successive years.
Booboo found his love for wrestling when at the age of 5 he would accompany his father, former pro wrestler Nils Stewart, to a wrestling training center in Mission Viejo, CA. He was doing backdrops off the ropes by the age of 6.
Booboo started in the film industry at the age of 9 with a small part in a film his father and sister Maegan were working on called Skeleton Man. In a short time he was working steadily landing such roles as a recurring character on Everybody Hates Chris, working as a stunt double for the character Beowulf in the hit film "Beowulf" and became the most working young male model in the business. At the age of 12, Booboo expanded his career by receiving a record deal with Walt Disney Records and toured with Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, The Cheetah Girls and others.
In 2009, Booboo won the most coveted role available to young men -- playing Seth Clearwater in the incredibly successful Twilight Saga. His first movie in the series (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) comes out this summer. In recent months, he has been gracing the pages of all the teen magazines and 2010 looks to be an incredible year for this rising superstar.
This past October, Booboo attended TNA Bound for Glory in Irvine, California, his first live TNA Wrestling event, and was hooked. Lewington had been under contract to WWE since April 2006.

| It would appear that TNA is saying goodbye to the six-sided ring as a traditional four-sided ring is set up in the Impact! Zone for tonight's Genesis pay-per-view.
The company had been using the six-sided ring since debuting at Universal Studios in June 2004 for their first iMPACT! taping.
We expect to have a photo of TNA's new 4-sided ring later today. We have Mike Shalik on-scene and will get a picture up on the site as soon as he's inside the building. ---------- Event: TNA Genesis Pay-Per-View Airdate: Sunday, January 17th, 2010 (Pay-Per-View) Location: Universal Studios Soundstage 21 in Orlando, FL Results by TNAWrestlingNews.com
TNA Genesis Opener:
We get a video hyping the main feuds heading into tonight's event, as well as Hulk Hogan's return to PPV.
The pyro hits and Mike Tenay welcomes us to the first PPV of the Hogan/Bischoff era. Hogan's music hits and he's on his way down to the ring with Eric Bischoff.
In the Arena:
The Impact Zone looks packed and there is a traditional four-sided ring with a raised ramp leading to it. Hogan soaks up the cheers for a bit before welcoming the fans to the PPV. Hogan says on top of that, welcome to the brand new Impact Zone (which gets a lot of boos). Hogan says this is just the beginning as the crowd starts a 'we want six sides' chant.
Hogan says six sides only got TNA so far, and they're taking them the rest of the way. Hogan says there's no more play-pen rings, and they're changing it whether the fans like it or not. Hogan talks down Vince and the notion of 'sports entertainment'. Bischoff says that nobody likes change, and it's obvious by the reaction of the crowd. Bischoff says to get used to change because there's a hell of a lot more coming. Hogan says, in closing, 'What'chu gonna do Vince McMahon, now that TNA is coming for you'. Bischoff and Hogan exit the ring and head to the back.
Taz and Tenay get their chance to welcome us to the PPV, talking about how great the changes that Hogan and Bischoff are bringing. Tenay and Taz immediately begin talking about the Angle/Styles main event, before sending us down to the ring for the first match, the X Division Championship match.
TNA X Division Championship - Amazing Red (c) vs. Brian Kendrick
Amazing Red is out to the ring first to a nice pop from the crowd. Brian Kendrick is the surprise opponent for Red!
Kendrick gets a nice pop, and chant from the crowd. Kendrick starts things out with a kick, but Red avoids it. Kendrick takes Red down into an arm bar, but Red is able to work out into a hammerlock. Kendrick rolls through to break the hold. Both men lock up and Red ends up in yet another arm bar, courtesy of Kendrick. Kendrick changes it up into a camel clutch while hitting a couple of cross face blows on Red. Red fights up to his feet and both men jockey for position.
Kendrick kicks Red in the head, sending him outside and into the barricade. Brooke Hogan is sitting ringside, urging on Red. Kendrick follows to the outside where he kicks away at Red's leg. Back in the ring and Kendrick continues to work over Red's leg with a stiff kick and a leg bar.
Kendrick hits a running kick to Red's knee before choking away at him in the corner. Kendrick wraps Red's leg up in the ropes, just wrenching away at his knee. Kendrick locks in a modified half crab, but Red makes it to the ropes, forcing him to break the hold. Kendrick continues his assault on Red's knee, hanging it up in the ropes and kicking away. Kendrick climbs up to the second rope, but Red hits a beautiful spinning kick sending Kendrick to the floor. Red follows out with a front flip senton from the top rope out to the floor and on top of Kendrick.
Red sends Kendrick back into the ring and goes up top for a shotgun missile dropkick, Red tries for the cover but Kendrick kicks out at two. Kendrick sends Red into the corner, but he eats Red's boot twice. Red goes for a cross body, but Kendrick ducks and locks in another modified single leg Boston crab. Kendrick modifies the hold again into a modified STF with a couple of headbutts for good measure. Red rolls over into the ropes, forcing a break.

As noted yesterday here on the website, more WWE releases are expected over the next few weeks after the string of developmental cuts last week and the release of SmackDown! star Eric Escobar yesterday.
Earlier today, the TNAWrestlingNews.com website obtained some wild video of TNA Knockouts Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne a drunk mess dancing, stripping, and kissing on a bar. This footage was taken over the weekend. http://www.tnawrestlingnews.com/headlines/265849637.shtml -------------- WWE announced the following today: What better way to celebrate the day after Valentine's Day than with Raw special guest host Jerry Springer? The host of the syndicated The Jerry Springer Show takes the reins as the WWE Superstars roll into Des Moines, Iowa. The Jerry Springer show debuted in 1991, and can be seen on more than 200 television stations across the United States. What does Springer have in store for the WWE Universe? Tune in on Feb. 15 to find out. ------------------- As of now there are no plans to bring back the six-sided ring, even for specialty events like the Lockdown PPV. TNAWrestlingNews.com/eWrestlingNews.com is reporting that the idea of bringing it back occasionally was discussed but ultimately shot down. Fan reaction to the change on Sunday night was initially a loud negative. There were loud chants of 'We Want Six Sides' during Hogan's opening promo at Genesis. That caused him and Bischoff to go off-script by saying it was to damn bad if they didn't like it and that it was here to stay.
TNAWrestlingNews.com/eWrestlingNews.com is also exclusively reporting that some fans at ringside Sunday night were warned by a Universal Studios employee named Bernadette about not being negative towards the show, and asked to watch their language. This came after the fans turned their backs on Sean Morley's win over Daniels, and chanted "porn star" during the match. These fans decided to sit in the bleachers for tonight's tapings instead of ringside where they would normally be, in order to "show TNA the difference." Several Universal employees, of which the aforementioned Bernadette was one, addressed the crowd before the start of today's tapings, asking them to behave and stay in line with the tapings. No word yet on how the fans reacted.
For those who may have missed it earlier, the TNAWrestlingNews.com website obtained some wild video of TNA Knockouts Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne a drunk mess dancing, stripping, and kissing on a bar. This footage was taken over the weekend. Unreal. Click here to view the shocking video.
Some TNA talents are feeling disgruntled right now. With all the new names coming in and the new direction of the promotion, some of the tenured wrestlers are concerned that their efforts and history with the company will be overlooked. Sources right now are saying that nobody is being let go and the company is just in the process of setting up their new direction. ------------------- Awesome Kong was sent home after last night's altercation with Bubba the Love Sponge.
No word on her future with TNA. ----------------- After numerous years in WWE's developmental system, Ryan Reeves participated in his first dark match before last night's Raw telecast. Going under the name Skip Sheffield, he defeated Chavo Guerrero. Reeves, who has undertaken a cowboy persona, cut a promo before his match about being from the South. He got the crowd to chant "yip yip yip" with him, which is something he does at Florida Championship Wrestling live events. After being one of the eight finalists on WWE's fourth installment of Tough Enough, Reeves was signed to a developmental contract. He spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling and Deep South Wrestling from 2005 to 2007 before being released in January of the latter year. Reeves later returned to OVW and managed to score a second developmental contract with WWE following a September 2008 tryout. He initially debuted in FCW with a Terminator-esque character he developed called Ryback, but adopted the Skip Sheffield persona this past fall. ----------------- According to Variety, Randy Orton will star in the WWE Films production of Big Red. There is no word on what role Orton will play yet. Here is the description of the film… "In 1965, as the world changes all around him, 12-year-old Andy Nichol comes of age when he's asked by his favorite teacher, Mr. Simon, to partner with school outcast Big Red for an English assignment."
The Hart family DVD will be released in April, and will be officially titled Hart and Soul: The Hart Family Anthology.
WWE The Music: A New Day will be released on January 28th.

USA Today reports "HBO's latest Real Sports, debuting Tuesday, features Chris Nowinski, a medical researcher who studies head injuries among NFL players.
