| The dream Sam had is something that was bound to happen. Any human who drinks the blood of a vampire has erotic dreams about them for a few nights (more if they continue to drink their blood). I doubt it will happen again, I think it was just there to tell the audience that even if your sexuality does not make you inclined to have dreams of that nature, you will have them, it's what Vampire blood does. _________________ Templates update : September the 30th 2020 -///- Gallery update : April 2nd 2022 ReImagining MMPR my universe. | So far so good on the new season. I really didn't like the end of the last episode, but it's a fantastic way to show just how crazy Bill would be without Sookie. | |

| I agree with you, it's also a great way to show how much he hates Lorena. The root of all his suffering since she turned him. _________________ Templates update : September the 30th 2020 -///- Gallery update : April 2nd 2022 ReImagining MMPR my universe. | Okay, yesterdays episode was MUCH better than the one last time. Bill has redeemed himself a little. Won't say anymore to spoil it for anyone. | |

| The season's looking pretty good. However, I am a bit disappointed with it. I'm noticing (Keep in mind I have not seen or read anything about the Twilight saga, I get my info about it from other people.) that they seem to be pandering a little to the Twilight fans with some of the storyline and what they did with the werewolves. Am I the only person seeing this?
I am hoping that the rest of the season will make up for it. | |

| Traditionally vampires and werewolves have always gone together in my eyes. If you look at the publishing dates Charlaine Harris's books came out before Twilight for the most part, as well as the Vampire Dairies, which also has werewolves. I actually think it's funny for people who have read all three series cause when you look at it, Twilight has taken alot from the other series instead of the other way around. Still love them all. - Spoiler:
I think the best of of this last episode was where Bill responded automatically to Sookie. I know Bill kept telling Sookie he was a vampire and (according to the books) Bill was sent to 'procure' Sookie FOR the queen, but there's love there. He wants to be human again so badly.
And Eric dreaming of Sookie... yum! That was the icing on the cake so to speak. I was thinking it would have been Sookie dreaming of that one when I saw the previews.

| My point wasn't that I didn't think vampires and werewolves go together. It's just the way it's being portrayed. Although the Trueblood books may have come before; the second movie of the Twilight saga came out before the third season. So Twilight fans who watch the recent season without researching the books and their chronology may think there is a bit of similarities. Now to attempt what I'm trying to say clearer... - Spoiler:
The similarity I was talking about was that the werewolves only seem to have a straight human to wolf form and not were form; which kind of outsets me. If there's no were form, then they wouldn't be weres would they?
Also, there was some brief "chemistry" between Sookie and Alcide (the werewolf Sookie is working with). Mainly it's because Sookie cares a lot about people and when they are being treated unfairly. However, if it isn't/wasn't a brief chemistry and turns into an addition to Sookie's complicated love life, it is almost akin to how Bella (again, all my info is hearsay) gets caught up with Jacob while Edward isn't around.
I know that that's not precisely clear, but it's the best I can do with what I do know.

| lol, very true there. I know what happened in the books, but I wonder if Alan Ball is going to take it further than that with the Sookie/Alcide thing considering Debbie is totally different too. I always did like Alcide even though he is a bit of a pushover sometimes. | |

| In the books, Sookie and Alcide have something, so it would be logical if they have the same relationship in the series.
Now, the thing to remember is that Twilight doesn't have Werewolves. They have a Native American tribe who has "guardians" able to transform themselves into big wolves to hunt vampires.
Also, in True Blood/The Southern Vampire Mysteries there's more than just werewolves there are werepanthers, weretigers, werefoxes etc...
And Twilight is a lame fan-fiction, who unfortunately gain fame and success but who is completely empty of interesting story or character development. So there's no reason to compare it with something else. But that's just my opinion. _________________ Templates update : September the 30th 2020 -///- Gallery update : April 2nd 2022 ReImagining MMPR my universe. | Okay, its getting so much better! That part with Jason had me in giggles the whole time. Rusty finally got shushed me cause I couldn't stop, lol. That's an episode I want to watch over and over. And the preview looks tantalizing.
