| "Yay"?
I really have no feeling about it one way or the other, if he had died oh say 8 years back I'm sure I would care more. As it is I lost interest and moved on with life.

| Now we have to deal with the North Korean and the Sirian thing going on. I don't know when my brother will be home, and thats really messing with my mom. They told us he could retire in 4 years, he has 3 more to go and then this happens and he told us he might be in longer then expected. | |

| eh, it's not that much scarier than it was yesterday. And the dumb asses apparently left a lot of Intel for us to go through. If they try anything, I'm sure everyone will be ready. _________________ -Den-

| Honestly I feel that this may or may not be a good thing considering the fact that we will either get more people backing us, or we'll push WW3 closer to us *shrug* either way, it's gonna be an interesting year. Let's hope it doesn't blow, eh? | |

Right, i dont mean to sound patronising or annoying but jiihad isnt any form of attack or violence This is what wiki says about Jihad Muslims use the word in a religious context to refer to three types of struggles: an internal struggle to maintain faith, the struggle to improve the Muslim society, or the struggle to defend Islam.[5] The prominent British-American orientalist Bernard Lewis argues that in the Koran and the ahadith jihad implies warfare in the large majority of cases.[6] In a commentary of the hadith Sahih Muslim, entitled al-Minhaj, the medieval Islamic scholar Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi stated that "one of the collective duties of the community as a whole (fard kifaya) is to lodge a valid protest, to solve problems of religion, to have knowledge of Divine Law, to command what is right and forbid wrong conduct".[7] I learned it at school one time, sorry but hate to see that kind of thing

| jihad stems from the belief (correctly) that alot of the world used to be part of the Muslim state. What they also believe is the entire world would be better by sharing their beliefs (as do all forms of thinking, belief, philosophy, human nature). jihad is the statement that the world ought to be made Muslim if it refuses as they only refuse since they do not yet know it would be best for them. Extremists groups have translated (incorrectly or otherwise is a seperate debate) that Mohammed's teachings promote that it is acceptable to do so by physical force if required and that those who stand in the way can justifiably be removed. Jihad is to many a central tenament of Islam, the expansion of their own ways of belief at all costs. Which logically makes sense in terms of promoting one's own beliefs however on a human level it is hard to justify this extent or any form of killing with the intent of spreading your own belief.
Which is why I take no pleasure in this latest news. I'm not trying to be contravertial its just how I think.
On another note it is generally assumed Bin Laden has been very ill for a long time and been little more than a figurehead. While damaging it is hard to see if they think this would stop those who have been running it in his stead anyway. None the less it is what it is, I think its just as important to mourn that civilians died in the firefight (by all accounts three women at least) as another continuation of the killing carried out due to the whole story that has unravelled in these latest years involving more than one party.
