arrow man, titan, black falcon, blue beast, black vindicator, batdevil, atom smasher, black huntress, human bolt, captain marvel and cheetar man.

martian vision, batdevil, cataclism, ace and redhawk.

the next is my take on dc's justice lords - this will be an on going series that will include hopefully all of the characters from the dc world (villains inc). all along the bottom are immune to green lantern.

firestorm, booster gold, checkmate, black adam, ray, blue devil, aquaman and flash.

Nice "Ross" style while still maintaining that outlined appearance and appeal. Very good take on these guys. Where the heck did you come from, anyway? Pop out of the woodwork producing work of this calibre?! Insane. Just glad you're here, now!

As for you....

Off-hand, work on your color depth. Go deeper for your shadows and higher for your highlights. For example, your Blue Devil torso is good for the shadows. But, pull the colors forward more for the highlights on, for instance the biceps and his abs. The rest of your characters have a somewhat flat appearance also due to the shadow depth problem, and the highlight problem. Aquaman's leg definition disappears behind the scales of his uniform due to this. It should have been reversed. The scales should've been lighter, and the definition darker...

I have one other point to make, but, before I do, what program do you create in?

this is my take one several bad guys becoming "good" guys.

from l2r - joker, brainiac, the riddler and the red tornado (all ready to take on the bad guys after being labotomised by superman.



these are what i think the justice boys should look like - aquaman with the armour and hook, gl being john stewart in hal jordans costume, superman being in his "godfall" costume and batman in his costume from the movie "batman begins".

Nothing big... I work in Photoshop, so if you worked in something similar, I could give you some short-cut tips. But, in MS Paint, there are no short-cuts. Good luck, and keep it up. Let me know (PM is good) if you need any more help or advice. It's what I'm here for...

this is what i think these 3 characters should look like -

steel - armour that conforms to his body and not clunky
batman - he is human so protection is the key to survival
superman - the one and only godfall - with steels armour

Not only in quantity, but in quality too.
Impressive, well done, well designed, beautiful.
Comments, I would do more contrast between colours, and would use black for the outline, but this is only my style, and if you have yours and like it that way, perfect.
And What about a little difference between faces?

using steels template -
aquaman wanted to show of the legs
gl just thought he looked cool
cyborg wanted to show power - whoops not today

and bane begged for his life as superman was about to break his back - he now serves the justice lords with extreme pride (not)

what if the lord went forward in time to the years of batman beyond?



ideas are welcome for this universe.

as for this post - blame my sister (mickey_d) for this one - several months ago we set out to make micros of the characters from the world of mortal kombat - she attempted the females - i attempted to do the males - this is what we come up with.



this is only some of the males i attempted - i had to choose what i thought was the best interpretation of their costumes.

this was the finished product
