Ok, so its been years and years(or months really) since I have posted anything. I have become an officer in the U.S. Navy so I have been away at whats called OCS which is Officer Candidate School for the past couple months and they don't really offer much time for microing. But low and behold I do have a post. So back and (in my opinion) better than ever is some new micro's from yours truely.

First up is the Canadian Supergroup Alpha Flight with some memebers I threw together in new team like costumes: Guardian, Shaman, Puck, Northstar, and Sasquatch.


Next is some of Marvels Greatest heroes. I have tweaked them a little but for the most part left them the same. Here is: Black Panther, Blade, Dr. Strange w/Trench Coat and Cape, Repost of My Ghost Rider, Spiderman, and Captain America(may he rest in peace).


These are by far not my best work but they are something I have done recently. Here are a couple "historical" marvel characters. Samurai Wolverine and Cowboy Captain America.


My last Marvel character is the Merc With A Mouth you know him, you love him, we laught at him: Deadpool


And now I have something that I very seldom post...characters from the DC Universe.

First up is my favorite DC character. The former Boy Wonder, Elvis wannabe, all around ladies man and in my opinion Batman Jr: Richard "Dick" Grayson...aka Nightwing


One thing that seems to be a constant on the micro boards is the big Jaffa craze from Star Gate. So I decided to try my hand at one and used one of DC's greatest characters as the base. So here is the Jaffa Bat


Next are just a couple things that I personally am a fan of.

First in some micro's of my all time favorite action star Chow yun Fat. I have decided to do some of his more popular costumes from some american and non american films. So here is: Ken Lee from "A Better Tomorrow II", The Monk from "Bulletproof Monk", Inspector Tequila Yuen from "Hard Boiled", and Henry Lee from "The Replacement Killers"


And last is my take on the Character Gray Fox from Metal Gear. My thought is Raiden should be the new Gray Fox so I took parts of the new and old Ninja uniforms from the Metal Gear Solid series and put them together to get this:

Are you going to do more of the Jaffa League. Because Batsy was pretty cool?

All-around awesome work. That's the military for you, plenty of time to shine brass but no time for important stuff like microing.

The sasq is great and your Blade is my favorite. I think the samurai wolverine is great too. You really captured the "bushy"-style top-knot (which I have failed at many times). It may not matter to you but, if you used the hakama template, I am forced to admit my shame.

Disclosure statement: A while back in lil'guys, I posted a couple of real-life samurai. I had made the hakama (pleated skirt/pants thing) from scratch. Then a guy named Millet (sp?) used it and made some shading and shape improvements and put it on a template. Problem is I screwed up on the original. I knew the hakama had seven pleats so I made the original with seven pleats but I forgot that two are on the back so there should be only five in front. Sorry.

I really appreciate all the great comments you guys have made. To Omni...I am working on the Jaffa League(great name by the way) but I do have a very big DC project that I am currently working on that I should be posting in the Your Universes section within the next couple weeks and trust me its like nothing you have seen or read before...it will really shake up the DC universe. Preview - It is Christmas Eve in Gotham City, Bruce Wayne(Batman) is enjoying Christmas dinner with his wife Diana(Wonder Woman, their 6 month old twins Damien and Persephone, adopted sons Tim Drake(Robin) and Dick Grayson(Nightwing), and Dick's pregnant wife Barbara Gordon-Grayson(Oracle). Also present is Bruce's ever loyal friend and butler Alfred Pennyworth who answers the door after a chime of the doorbell. As he opedns the door a blade rips through his chest killing him instantly. Bruce Wayne watches in agony as the man who cared for him throught his childhood and supported him faithfully through his adult life falls dead at the door. But his death is only the first of many on this night. Stay tuned as many old heroes will die and new heroes will be born and some will find out exactly what it is to be a hero. And to Kage....it is a mistake I should have caught as I understand the seven virtues very well and am deeply enriched in japanese culture. There is no shame my friend we all make mistakes.

Lastly I just wanted to post a couple things...nothing significant or breathtaking.

The first is for anyone who thinks they can't get better at micro's. On the left you will see one of my original micro's of cyclops that I had done. And on the right you will see my new updated version of the same micro. No matter what you think...with time you will get better.

I've gotta say, I really like your Smallville Pre-Justice League group! I think that was 1 of only 3 episodes I saw, but it left an impression.

Also, excellent Alpha Flight! And chance for Box or Vindicator? Guardians mask does look quite right, but I haven't followed that book in years and it may very well reflect his current mask for all I know.

But I think my favorites are the western Captain America and Ghost Rider.

I have finally decided to post an update in my gallery..its been a while. I decided to do some DC characters which is something I don't do alot of. I did the costumes on the characters that I like the most with some minor alterations to some. So I hope you enjoy!!
