I really like the effect Mystique gives here once again your skills astound me Thanks. Yes, it is believed that Earth-295 Death is Lifeforce. And, as Earth-77995 is just what would have happened if Magneto was killed instead of Xavier, this is a different take on AoA, so, yes. The effect for Mystique was actually really easy to accomplish, but I'm glad you like her _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't. | My favorite thing ever? That up there.
The color change in Captain Britain's hair is superb. Apocalypse is always pure badassery, and his face is perfect. The Beyonder's glow is way, way rad. You just solved a big problem for me. The shading on Mystique is fantastic and amazing and well done. I know what a pain that was.
Thank you. More? | |

Thank you. More? Thanks! Betsy's hair wasn't all that hard, truth be told (as I'm sure you well know.... I *HAVE* seen your last few updates... now, your hair gradient changes? SICK! If only I was that good...). I've actually made a couple other Apocalypse micros lately that are even MORE badassery, if I do say so myself. I just need to remember to post 'em... *sigh*. Thanks about Beyonders glow... though I've actually used it before; though I am glad to be of help! Mystique took me 10 minutes to make from start to finish... 5 of those minutes were on making the little spikes... the shading was only two minutes, max. But I am happy you like her. There will be more; soon. I hope... just need to write the clues and figure out who I'm gonna post (I've pulled one of your tricks... I've made over 1000 that I've got sitting here on my hard drive... which ones to post?, hmm....) - Kgoku wrote:

Thanks. As I said, it wasn't all that difficult to make, but I am chuffed with the results! _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't. My micros are my own. I credit all those I borrow from, I expect the same policy.

| I'm going to make this easy for you. Your next group should consist of Storm. Times 6.
I used to do all my gradients by hand in Paint, but that got old, so now I use a separate program for just that reason. Makes things way easier, so now I can use the effect more often.
And there's no way Mystique took 10 minutes. How?! I've done that shading and I hated my life until it was over.

And there's no way Mystique took 10 minutes. How?! I've done that shading and I hated my life until it was over. Ah, but if it was Storm times six, there'd be no surprise for you - or anyone else - would there? Yeah, I thought about that for gradients, but I don't really need to have them that often in my work, so I don't really think about it until another one pops up on my plate and then I'm all "Oh &$&!@^%()!" As for Mystique, I don't know how... practice maybe? I've made this style of shading before, so I've just used the time to figure my tones and such, and then freehand where the highlights would be... and boom, 10 minutes gone Here are the clues for the next batch though: 1 - The Heroine, called upon to solve a problem that had nothing to do with her; snagged into the web of deception by a foe from her past 2 - The Boyfriend, accepting the invitation to the web as an excuse to avoid the issues that are inherent in a relationship with a spy 3 - The Mystery Teammate, a lost friend, back from the dead... maybe? 4 - The Troubled Teammate, a teammate back from tortured circumstances, she is in full control of herself, but slightly unstable yet 5 - The Flighty Teammate, seeing things others can't this teammate is more than a little flighty, and VERY blonde 6 - The Enemy, a foe from long ago, he has risen from the dead to haunt our Heroine 7 - The Mentor, having saved the Heroine from the Enemy originally, he is now embroilled in the plottings of a deadman A bonus point if you can name the mini-series _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't. These are all probably horrendously wrong Unfortunately, they all kind of are.... Right family-team (or is it team-family?), wrong specific team. I can tell you however, that one of your guesses would have been correct had they been in a different number _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't.
