Nothing against AArel but that's what I get every time I post something. It's nice to hear but just kind of old after a while. I hardly ever get CC on anything. I think that last time I did was a few years ago. I probably only get good comments on my stuff because I stress out about what I do actually post. I make a whole lot more then I post. I have high expectation of what I post & what I currently have for M3G is ok, but I think it could be better. But I don't know what about it could better. *sigh*

*sigh* Yeah, I've kinda noticed that as well. I've seen people speciafically asking for CCs in Gallery titles though. Seems that the default response is encouraging comments, rather than crits, as some people don't want 'em. At least that's my experience from posting on art boards.

The whole "Deadpool" look was intentional since his name is Wade Jordan which is a merge of the names Wade Wilson (Deadpool's real name) & Hal Jordan (The Green Lantern), so my micro is our Wade Wilson dressed in a costume that merges aspects of both the Deadpool costume & that of a Green Lantern costume. Thanks for the CC, anything else you or anyone else would like to comment on?

I'll talk to myself. I'm usually not on auto pilot, but often comes on the board for a few minutes at a time. So I don't really take the time to write complicated feedback or CC. I do it when I can but not often. For a few days now I've been wanting to make some feedback (more than just good job) on several of your micros or try to give CC or just my opinion of why I think this or that micro could be better. But I can't find the time. I'll do my best in the next few days. _________________ Templates update : September the 30th 2020 -///- Gallery update : April 2nd 2022 ReImagining MMPR my universe. Auto Pilot (as Wikipedia explains it) is a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic system used to guide a vehicle without assistance from a human being. I used it to mean People who are only vaguely aware of what it going on around. They'll scan galleries looking for latest Micros, but ignore most of the text around it. - CaptMac wrote:

I try to if they are part of a set but sometimes if just a single micro I might not.

I thought that went without saying. - Reverend.Slaughter wrote:

So, you & ruben have both suggested ideas but did I ask for any? No. Also, I have no real interest in doing anything Thundercats related. It's hard enough for me to do Avatars anyways & my Thundercat was also hard to do so merging the two ideas is just making more work that I don't really want to deal with. So, on a related note: Go & check out the 'Verse subtopic, I've posted some new stuff in my "The Professor" topic. I've done 3 good looking, post worthy Micros. Also, This does not mean The Funk of 2008 is over, just that there was a break in the Funk. EDIT: On another note, The Internet apparently doesn't hate me anymore since I could get Photobucket to load for me. So, woot to that. I guess I now have to decided which photosharing site to use: Photobucket or ImageShack? EDIT #2: Update on the Internet not hating me. I can log into my e-mail!

That's why my posting is so infrequent (that and I just don't talk much). I just hope you continue making the wonderful micros you make when the funk isn't there. *edited* Also, I'm not that good at doing CC on micro's. I'm usually over critical of my own work (and like you, "throw out" much of my micro's). On one hand, if I don't like someone's work, I don't usually comment at all. On the other hand, even if I like someone's work, I don't usually comment either, because I just sound like I'm repeating everyone else.

Yeah. But I don't walk away, maybe I should. I try to make something else. That sucks. I try something else, that sucks. I try yet another thing & that sucks. The pattern goes on until a whole day has gone by & I haven't done squat. So, I feel I wasted a whole day. - glguardian wrote:

| I promised I would say something about your micros, so here it is.
First your self-portrait, nothing to say really the micro is nicely done. Zombie you : Making a zombie is not an easy task. tearing clothes apart, rotting the meat and adding blood spatter is not easy, but you did a very nice job, well done.
Next, I'm going to talk about the Creator redesigns.
- AArel, I like this look for the fly. Not much to say really, but I like the ideas, it's different than the original and it looks cool. - BKole, I don't know the original, but I like the blue lines and shape over the white body. - Cheetah, I like the template you made/used, very nice. - Emissary, classic in a way, but it's Emissary. It's just weird know that he calls himself Spartan, we'll have to get used to it, but the redesign you made is cool. - Ghost Spider, I already told you I liked the invisibility effect. Even if it's is not yours, the fact that you decided to use it proves you gave good taste ^^. - Golem, I like the energy effect, really nice. - Highwayman, just love the retro look, early 19th century right ? - Muad'Bib, love the metallic part with screws to keep them in place. Good idea. - Mighty Leatherface, once again nice use of the bloodstained clothes effect. - Power Ring 1, I like the shapes created by the ring. - Rachel, simply a nice redesign of Hypergirl. - Sever, mean looking, partially borg, that's the Sever we know. Maybe he should be a little darker, (more red and black) but I guess it's your choice to make him like that. - Tempest, simply gorgeous.
All the others are nicely made of course, but I don't have anything specific to say about them.
Then, let's see the other micros.
Nice you as The Middleman (love the show, didn't felt like a season finale to me, and can't wait to see next season). It does look like the uniform, maybe the green should be a little darker.
I still have to do some comments on the universes you have, might to that later, might to that another day. _________________ Templates update : September the 30th 2020 -///- Gallery update : April 2nd 2022 ReImagining MMPR my universe. Thanks. I've had a few years to work on it. I've done at least 10 different versions of myself over the years I've microed. I should post them all sometime to show the progression. - Dax wrote:

The version I posted here is the 2nd one I did, I wanted to update to make it more zombified. How I made mine was looking for 2 types of micros: zombies & vampires. For the clothes I looked for 2 types: ripped/torn clothes & bloody clothes. I studied those, looking at how they were done then went & updated my micro accordingly. - Dax wrote:

People have said that, even AArel. But I don't think my Fly is all that different then the others. Maybe it's because I gave him antennae but everything I did was at least partly based off of other micros of The Fly. - Dax wrote:
- - BKole, I don't know the original, but I like the blue lines and shape over the white body.
He is/was a member of The Initiative. His avatar was a white micro, no face, with the chest design in black. It was very stark & kind of bland. I added 3 main things: two toned body suit (Grey & White), made the black design blue to add visual interest & added a face just because. - Dax wrote:
- - Cheetah, I like the template you made/used, very nice.
The body was made form parts of Cheetah's own cat template, my Thundercat & a cat template made by Rachel. - Dax wrote:
- - Emissary, classic in a way, but it's Emissary. It's just weird know that he calls himself Spartan, we'll have to get used to it, but the redesign you made is cool.
To each his own, I've been calling him Matt to avoid my typing the wrong name. When I made Him, I was looking over his various versions of himself & found a common ground (blue energy, stars, black, metal) which where I worked from. I've been thinking I need to update him to Spartan but I just haven't gotten around to it. - Dax wrote:
- - Ghost Spider, I already told you I liked the invisibility effect. Even if it's is not yours, the fact that you decided to use it proves you gave good taste ^^.
Thanks. I really like the work Dave O'Millet did, He had a great sense of design. I'm sad that he doesn't make micros anymore. If he still is, I haven't found any of his new stuff. - Dax wrote:
- - Golem, I like the energy effect, really nice.
That came from a Living Lightning micro that I found & had been wanting to use on something since it looked so cool. I thought it would work with what the character was so I used. - Dax wrote:
- - Highwayman, just love the retro look, early 19th century right ?
I wanted a Colonial American look to him which I think in the 18th century but clothes of those type did carry over in the 19th. - Dax wrote:
- - Muad'Bib, love the metallic part with screws to keep them in place. Good idea.
Maud'Bib was based off a drawing he did & the bolts were there in the drawing, I think. - Dax wrote:
- - Mighty Leatherface, once again nice use of the bloodstained clothes effect.
The blood came from 2 places: the apron I used already had blood on it & a used another MLF that was also bloody so I just brought that over. This micro was an updated version of an old one I had of him. I added the apron, wrote the text on it, gave him an axe & bloodied him up. - Dax wrote:
- - Power Ring 1, I like the shapes created by the ring.
That came from a micro by a guy over at Superbuddies called Starbird, he always has great details to his micros. - Dax wrote:
- - Rachel, simply a nice redesign of Hypergirl.
I made her from a past micro I did of her & micros made by her. She's made some very nice templates. - Dax wrote:
- - Sever, mean looking, partially borg, that's the Sever we know. Maybe he should be a little darker, (more red and black) but I guess it's your choice to make him like that.
I've been thinking I need to update that micro but just haven't gotten around to it. I'd update the borg parts & made add some red since his micros of him always had him wearing red. - Dax wrote:
- - Tempest, simply gorgeous.
She's wearing modified clothes that I originally made for Rachel which is kind of funny since they are net friends. - Dax wrote:
