| Greetings All, I’m glad ya’ll enjoyed the “MARVEL ZOMBIES” version of myself, a.k.a. The Dreaded Dr. Z!!!I’m hoping to do a little more with him… or at least take a stab at one of his converted Bots, but I know that time is short and I still have to finish the Micros for my “What if… featuring MARVEL ZOMBIES”, after all Halloween is Wednesday, and… DEMONIC DR. Z still needs to make an appearance. Oh! Just to give ya’ll a hint… I came up with two alternative endings. Don’t worry; the universe still goes to heck in a hand basket… much like our own. HA! In the mean time, here are a few bars/lines that I found while surfing the net. I know that they’re not Micros, but I just wanted folks out there to know that I didn’t whip up the “Blood Bar” that I used in my last post. After all, credit needs to go where credit is due. (I just wish that I could remember exactly when and where I found them.) Animated BARS - BloodbarElectrodesFire-barFlaming Skull-barSlimebarSnakelineWell, so much for today’s post. Again, I just wanted to set the record straight about the “Blood Bar”. Tomorrow… I hope to have some actual “Micros” for ya’ll. They may not be the best in town, but hey… I never claimed to be Michael Angelo. Although... I do enjoy a good pizza. HA! Take Care, Dr. M Oh! Here’s a little somethin’ for all those smokin’ hot Goth Babes out there. Black RoseMmmmmmm… Tasty! .

| Greetings All,Well, it took some doing but I was finally able to upload my Micros to Photobucket. For some reason, even though I had loaded them… they didn’t seem to show up. Weird. Anywho, everything seems to be ok, so I’d best post these little buggers before they disappear… again. HA!By the way… I finished up my DR. DEMONIC, but I’m trying to find some kind of background for him. I also hope to finish my “BLENDER BOT” for Dr. Z, although I’ve had a few ideas regarding a somewhat diferent version… as well as a few other things I’d like to take a stab at. Insomnia Rules!!! (Not.)As for this post…I don’t know about ya’ll, but I was kind of ticked off at the end of the first “MARVEL ZOMBIES” series. It just seemed kind of “cheesy”. True… since then I’ve really been enjoying the series, but it’s a royal bugger to try to find all of the variant covers for all of the current Marvel titles, after all… October is “Zombie Month”. Anywho… we all know that at the end of MZ, both the Silver Surfer and Galactus were nothing more but mere snacks for the Marvel Zombies… although, if they were able to gain the Power Cosmic simply by eating SS and G, why didn’t they also gain the powers of whichever super hero and or super villain they dined on??? Oh well, maybe they’ll let us know when the movie comes out next summer.Yeah… I wish! But now... to the Micros at hand.Zombie Galactus- 01Zombie Surfer - 01 __ Let's Do Lunch! Again, these were was my first attempts, but... if time permits… I plan to go back and revamp them in the next few weeks.Next Time… DR. DEMONIC!!!Dr. M . | Greetings,First of all, I’d like to thank Spider-Boy and Davetheboy for the really cool Micros they made for me. I haven’t been on-line lately due to a very bad bout of depression… and the Meds my doctor prescribed only made things worse… so it was really nice to find those Micro Gifts. So again… Thanks guys, they are very much appreciated. Now… since things have been a little off for me, too say the least, I don’t have much in the way of a Micro, but… as some of you may (or may not) have noticed, I changed my Avatar from my Dr. M-Cartoon Network - to - The Ghoul Rules!!! __ “The Ghoul” hosted Horror & Monster movies on Saturday afternoon’s wayyyyyyyyy back in the 1970’s, so I thought… what the heck. Besides, the Avatar that I had originally whipped up was just too large for the accepted “Avatar” file size… that’s why I chose… “The Ghoul”. (The Web is alive with all kinds of cool, “weird” stuff. HA!)Anywho… I hope everyone out there has a nice Thanksgiving, and hopefully I’ll be back some time next week.Take care,Dr. M P.S. Here’s the Avatar that never was…Ecto-Skull Dr. M. | Greetings All, First of all, I’d like to thank Davetheboy (even though he grabbed my gear… HA!) and Sir Engel Uriel for their kind words. We all have our good days and bad days… and sometimes the bad days seem to out number the good… but in the end, everything “eventually” works out. Oh! And genetically enhanced lobster… dripping in butter… can also be a big help too. Yum, Yum, Yummers!!!I’ve heard of a children’s plate… but this is ridiculous! HA! Anywho, this time I’ll be posting a little something that I whipped up for fellow Micro-Head… Davetheboy. He asked me for some help with an animation, so… I helped. I’ll also be posting some of the historical costumes that I used for my “Way Back Machine”. I had hoped to post that one too, but unfortunately it was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to large… 11.7MB Large to be exact!!! Anywho… Enjoy! Dr. M . | Greetings All, First of all… Thanks Sir Engel Uriel, but remember, I simply popped myself into a Micro that I had already collected. Then all I did was “tweak” it a bit and do a slight re-color to the original. Like I’ve always said… "Kudos" to all the Micro Artists & Designers who came before us, and to all those that shall follow. Without them... none of us would be here today.
Thank You. But again… thank you for your praise. As always… it’s very much appreciated. Now… for Davetheboy… It’s good to be back, and again… thank you very much for whipping up a Holiday Micro for me… I really like it!!! As to the… “but for how much more?” question… who knows??? - Only my shrink knows for sure. HA! But seriously, I still plan on posting Micros whenever I can, and possibly more so starting in January. I just wish I that was faster at making Micros. Oh well, I never clamed to be the Flash. HA! Now… on to today’s post. Well, I was listening to the radio the other day, and song “Rock Lobster” by the B-52’s was on… ya gotta love those 80’s classics. Anywho, my weirdness factor kicked in and I came up with an idea for my latest Micro. So, without further delay, I give you… “DOC” LOBSTER!!!!!!!!Version 1A & B – Version 2A & B – Which version do ya’ll prefer??? Dr. M P.S. Whoever wins gets his very own evil undersea lair. Goody! P.P.S. Here are a few “Freaky Fotos” of my latest genetic experiment… Larry, the Lobster. Larry and his little brother. Moments later… his lunch. Larry grabbing a quick snack. Oh well... I never liked that assistant anywho. My little boy’s all growed up. Destroy them Larry. Destroy them ALL!!!!! Ah yes... memories. .

| My personal favorite has to be version 2B. The tail seems to be more clearly defined as a lobster tail in that one (Being less obstructed by the body and all). Plus, I love the lobster legs jutting from his sides. Good stuff man.
PS. You should make Larry fight Godzilla. That guy's been getting pretty cocky lately.

| Greetings All, Not much to report this week, so this post will be fairly short. Omniferis - Glad you liked the screen shots of Larry. Since I’m a huge Godzilla fan from way back, I have a lot of “Big G” pics and fan-fics throughout my computer. I’m also glad that you liked my Doc through time, but again... a big “KUDOS” must go out to all of the original Micro-Artists who made that possible. I also want to thank you for your kind words; they are very much appreciated. By the way… Luv the Chicken!!!! Reigeretsuu_Wrestler - Glad to hear that you like my Micros. I have to say that your Micro is pretty cool too. Great colors! Sir Engel Uriel - Thanks man, and speaking of “awesome”… your work is freakin’ awesome too!!! Keep up the amazing work. Now... it’s time for a few Micros. First up are a couple of Micros that I whipped up as a reference for Sir Engel Uriel’s “Thundercat” Universe. Like I told him, I just did basic editing, re-coloring and re-sizing. I definetly had to re-size the pants/loincloth… otherwise they would’ve kept fallin’ down, and nobody takes you seriously in your underware. HA! "Ancient spirits of evil, transform this decayed body to Mic-Ra, the Ever-Living!" Now… just for kicks… here are the first two versions that I didn’t send him. Any wonder why??? HA! Oooo! Scary! Well… I did say it was going to be a fairly short post, but I hope to have at least one more post (possibly two) before the end of the year. Yes sir… 2007 is headin’ for the last round-up. Let’s just hope that 2008 is a 100% better than it’s predecessor. Until next time, Dr. M . P.S. Here’s a little something I thought ya’ll might get a kick out of. Larry the Lobster - Color Me!. | Subject: “MARVLE ZOMBIES” – Take 2 Mon Dec 17, 2007 3:30 am | |
| Greetings All, I was going through some of my folders last night, trying to get things in a bit better order, when I found a few Micros that I forgot to post… as well as a few that I hadn’t finished. Anywho, since 2007 is almost up, I figured that I’d best post these suckers… even if they are re-dos. So, first up will be my “MARVEL ZOMBIES” re-dos. I had another Galactus micro in my collection, so I widened his body, shrunk his head a bit, and “tweaked” his arms and legs so that everything is bit more proportionate… even the Surfer got a bit of a revamp. I’ve also included a few pics that I whipped up, including a doctored panel from the first series. Enjoy. But first… a little background info. I wasn’t really sure which story would suit them best, so here are 2 possible story lines. “What If… featuring MARVEL ZOMBIES” - Story 1 What If… Galactus Had Defeated The MARVEL ZOMBIES? Once again the Silver Surfer is lunch, only this time when Giant-Man tells Galactus that they ate the Surfer, and the Marvel Zombies begin their attack… Galactus unleashes a massive blast of cosmic power from his gauntlet, destroying Giant-Man, the Hulk, and Wolverine all in one shot. The others try to counter-attack by using their newly acquired cosmic powers, causing some damage to Galactus... as well as getting in a few bites of him along the way. This only enrages Galactus, after all… these are but nats, and “he” is the mighty Galactus, so he uses his power to literally rip the decaying remnants of the Silver Surfer from out of the zombies’ stomachs. Not even Galactus would leave his former herald behind to rot within the intestines of these vile creatures. He would however suck their entire planet dry and leave it a lifeless husk; after all… he still hungered. So, bruised and bleeding Galactus prepares for his feast, but… unbeknownst to him… the infection had already begun its work, and very soon the mighty Galactus won’t be the only one with a new hunger. Zombie Galactus - 02 _ Zombie Surfer - 02 _ Zombie Galactus - In Search of His Next Meal -- And yes… I do have a full-size Zombie Galactus Micro. “What If… featuring MARVEL ZOMBIES” - Story 2 “What If… The Silver Surfer Had Become The Galacti?” The Silver Surfer is lunch… yet again… only this time the Marvel Zombies are much quicker in their attack, and are able to knock Galactus to the ground; much like how the original story went, and yes… the mighty Galactus knows fear for the first time. But… before he becomes an all you can eat buffet… Galactus calls out for the Surfer. “To Me My Herald!” Since the Surfer is still in servitude during this point in time, even in death he must answer his master’s call. Suddenly, the zombies keel over in extreme pain, as bits and pieces of the Silver Surfer are ripped and torn from out of their stomachs. The Surfer’s remains, or whatever hadn’t as yet been digested by the zombies, then reconstitute themselves into what can only be described as a horrific bloody mess; but never the less… the Surfer is back. Standing atop his board, he hovers between the zombies and Galactus. The zombies regain themselves, and start to press their attack once again only to discover that they no longer possess the Surfer’s power. “Destroy Them!” Galactus orders. “Join Us!” shout the zombies. But, before they even know what hits them, the Surfer unleashes a massive attack. Zombie parts were flyin’ and fryin’ all over the place, never before has Galactus witnessed such savagery from his herald… he is impressed. As Galactus prepares for his departure (he’s still planning of sucking the planet dry), Spidey… or what’s left of him calls to the Surfer, “Why did you attack us? Don’t tell me you’re still ticked off at us about that whole eating you thing? I mean; we could have shared. Right???” The Surfer replies… “Why should I share with you… especially when there’s barely enough for me.” As Galactus turns towards his herald, the last thing the devourer of worlds will ever hear is… “I HUNGER!!!”Ok. So, I know that it’s not a prizewinner, but what the heck. In a way, I’m glad that “MARVEL ZOMBIES” ended the way it did… even though I would have loved to have seen a Zombie Galactus; after all… then he would have been the true devourer of worlds. By the way, the pic that I whipped for that story line takes place a few years after the Galacti Surfer has had his little snicky-snack. I figure if the folks over at Marvel can do it… why can’t I. HA! Zombie Surfer - 04 _ By the way, I got my original idea for the Zombie Surfer from the cover of Marvel Zombies - Issue 5 - 2nd printing. Zombie Surfer - 03 - From the cover of “Marvel Zombies” - Issue 5 - 2nd printing. _ I also thought of a “What If…” in which a Zombie Galactus uses the Marvel Zombies as his new heralds. And… one in which Galactus somehow survives the attack and seeks revenge against the zombies… who had left him for dead once they had consumed enough of him to became the Galacti… or whatever they called themselves. Oooo! I can see it now… Galactus... all in black... with a big ‘ol skull on the front of his uniform. HA! Oh well, I’ve prattled on long enough. Hope ya'll like the newer versions. Dr. M . "Kudos" to all the Micro Artists & Designers who came before us, and to all those that shall follow. Without them... none of us would be here today. Thank You. - All praise the awesome power of… “SPELL CHECK”!!! . | |
