I like the name Adam Ward. You obviously mixed Adam West and Burt Ward from the 1966 Batman series.

Well on to my newest villain for Shadow Khan, The Missing Link:



The Missing Link and his Beastmen: His name was Link, that was it. For as long as he knew he had no other name. The orphan son of a couple who worked for the government, at first it seemed as if he was just a boy with an extreme case of Hypertrichosis, and opposable big toes. But as grew older his face became more ape-like. Finally it was reveal to Link that he was some sort of mutant. Soon after this revelation, Link discovered he had strange mental powers. he could control the minds of more simple creatures, from mice to gorillas. Only humans seemed immune to his powers, no matter how mentally reduce the subject was. One day Link heard that the scientist planned to vivisect him in order to discover how his powers worked. This was when the young mutant ran. As he attempted to escape he discovered a group group of men who were part of the Moreau Project. Each was an attempt to create a man with the savage power of a predatory animal. The resulting "Beastmen" were all uncontrollable and were being studied to fine tune the experiment. In order to cover his tracks Link released all of the Beastmen from their cage as he escaped the facility. By morning the building had burned to the ground. For two week Link hid in the forest near a small town. He would enter it at night to steal food and books. Finally one day he found the Beastmen coming at him from all sides. In desperation he gave the mental command to "stop". To his surprise, they heeded him. The experiments conducted on them had made them more animal then man, and completely under Links control. It was then that the mutant decide what to do. With his power and his new "pets", he could have what ever he wanted. From that day forward he started calling himself "The Missing Link" in honor of his appearance. Having forgone what ever humanity he once had, Link and his Beastmen commit crimes that have one of two purposes: to satisfy Links greed, or to gather food to help feed his pets. To the Missing Link the Laws of Man are meaningless. The only law is the Law of the Jungle.

Beowulf: Beowulf is one the few living that can remember a time before New Eden. In those days life wasn't easy, but it was more peaceful. That changed when the peoples of New Eden found out about Purgatory and saw it as a source of slaves to keep their world pristine. Beowulf quickly learned the art of warfare and became a master at it. Since he was the younger brother, it was his brother Yuga Khan who took the throne. But it made little difference to Beowulf who wish to protect the people, not rule them. Finally when the then young Patriarch killed Beowulf's brother, sister-in-law, and one of his nephews, he knew it was time for more drastic measures. He soon took his only surviving relative, his nephew Uxas, and trained him to be the most power warrior-king he could be. It was when he felt his young apprentice was ready, that he took him to where the legendary Omega Force was said to be. Many a brave warrior went searching for it and had never returned. Beowulf had felt this power was the final step in helping Uxas get justice for his people. Standing by his side every step of the way, he led him to where it was kept. As Uxas bonded with the power, a backwash of energy effected Beowulf as well. Now with a rock-like skin, The great warrior was more powerful then ever. As Uxas, now called Paragon, took the throne he made his uncle his head General. A cunning warrior, Beowulf leads hordes of Archangels against the foes of his homeworld. While peace has come to the kingdom, Beowulf knows as long as New Eden stands as a threat no one is safe.

I've had some good inspiration lately. And so I give you my latest enemy of Shadow Khan, the evil Card Shark!


Card Shark: Jack "Aces" Wilde grew up in Las Vegas. The son of a blackjack dealer and a chorus girl, spent much of his time learning the art of gambling. While counting cards and rigged decks were part and parcel of a standard casino, Aces felt there was something else needed. And that's when he turned to the local magicians of the strip. He knew they'd never teach him the secrets to their big tricks, but that was okay. What he wanted to learn was the basic secrets to things like slight of hand small escape tricks. These tricks combined with his knowledge of various other methods of cheating at poker and other card games would be invaluable. After breaking the banks of a few casinos the local mob caught up with him. To their surprise that was what Aces wanted. He felt a "demonstration" of his talents would show what he could do for them. For a few years Aces work for the mob using the skills he had learned. But this too was just to learn the secrets of how to form a successful "family". After he had what he needed, he faked his death and left town with several million. Aces was now ready to form his own crime organization, but he needed a hook. A theme would set him apart from the more common crime bosses of any major town. Drawing upon his past in Vegas, Aces contacted various underworld armorers to build a set of card themed weapons and a mask that would give him "the ultimate poker face". Each was chosen for his reputation for keeping quiet. Armed with these gadgets, and the remainder for his "nest egg", Aces soon arrived in the Big Apple as the faceless Card Shark. Card Shark's current goal is to take control over all the illegal gambling rackets in the city. But that's only an interim step toward taking over the city. Card Shark's goons always dress in like casino dealers but know if they try to cheat Card Shark, they will be that will be dealt to the bottom of the deck.

At current one of sorts in Briar Rose. I've had it in mind to rename Lucky Girl and have her be his apprentice. His own take on Mini-Moon.

Once I've finished designing her you'll see. Besides once I post the back-stories of the Goblin and the Dryad, you'll she also Rose's rival.
