| Today's Dose of Doom Patrol! Arch-enemies of the Geomancers; these beings have been waging war for a very, very long time. Their war is to capture a sacred object which exists within the depths of “Judge Rock”. Each side has it’s own domain with a number of Battle Zones where the actual fighting takes place. The Orthodoxy live in the Insect Mesh, and at the heart of the land is the Cage of Insect Generation. Within the Cage, prayers and dreams of the Orthodoxy are converted into raw energy. The people of the Orthodoxy can share a communal mind in times of trouble. This communal mind breeds thought- forms from eggs hatched in dreaming minds. The whole structure of the Orthodoxy is that of a very formal, but mind-numbing alien religion. Confused? Don’t worry, everyone is. Just be glad you don’t live there! Anathematicians: The leaders and controllers of all the wacky Orthodoxy. The three Anathematician jobs available are passed from generation to generation, and they apparently are subservient to the Queen-Mass of the Cage. They are also the unmerciful judges of the people; don’t screw up or you’ll be rewarded with the Ceaseless Shriek or other nasty nonsense. Trust me folks, the four or so issues in which these guys appeared only hinted at what a weird/complex society they had. reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DP39.jpg reshade on Emissaries of the Orthodoxy: Alias the Blur: Alias is a ghost, but not your normal everyday one. Alias the Blur is the ghost of a deceased mirror. Some time ago in Germany an actress fell in love with her reflection. It was a sweet romance that seemed like it might last for life, but one day the mirror lover up and left. A new, older reflection was what the woman found one day, and she was furious. She killed the mirror with battery acid and shot herself in the head; our storybook love affair had gone awry. The ghost of the dead mirror lie dormant in a junkyard, but one day your hero and mine, Mr. Nobody sent it dreams. Dreams of a better life, where deformed ghost mirrors would be accepted into society. Alias the Blur returned to un-life and joined the new Brotherhood. Alias eats time (as mirrors do), and seeks to drain the life from it’s natural enemies (all of humanity). Alias doesn’t talk much, because ghosts as we know, are a somber depressive lot. okay i did two shadings of the robe, and hate both rofl: reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/Dp52.jpg Prof. John Dandy used to be a super hero in days gone by. He was part of the Pentagons Unusual Operatives Division and his claim to fame was being a master of disguise. He used Super Skin, a malleable substance that allowed him to make masks indistinguishable from real faces. Well, as I said, that was a long time ago. His last mission involved tracking down a renegade member of the Pentagon that hid in the White Abyss. The Pentagon is full of weird places like that and this comic is full of weird places like the Pentagon. The only place you can find the truth about the Pentagon is in the Weekly World News. Anywho, he came back, but he was changed. Doodle had seen some rough stuff down there; walking buildings, monsters with tunnels for eyes and other stuff. He also met something that took away his face and gave him a new one (made of Scrabble pieces and a hair comb). He was also given a few disembodied floating heads to make up for the loss of his face, as one would hope for if they lost their head. The Pentagon decided to lock him away where he couldn’t do any harm. Doodle is a lunatic that feels no pain, and he’s still a rabid devotee of the government. His floating heads can smell fear, and they don’t like it. Yankee Doodle doesn’t have much of a mind left, but he does understand the concepts of “Kill” and “Destroy.” The only trouble is getting him to stop. This guy really gives me the creeps. reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DP52.gif Arani Desai was born in India into a life of wealth and privilege. Due to the death of her mother while giving birth to Arani, her father Ashok rejected her even though she possessed an excellent intellect and athleticism. Arani ran away from home after her father went insane. Life on the streets in Calcutta made her deathly ill until she was rescued by young American Dr. Niles Caulder. He gifted her with immortality on their wedding and left her in the Himalayas while he tried to evade General Immortus. Arani waited and realized that the serum augmented her powerfully, so that she could control her core temperature and project quantities of heat and cold. This ability coupled with the mysticism and monastery training made her a formidable martial artist. Discovering the death of the Doom Patrol, she created her own team to initially protect herself from General Immortus, who had momentarily restored his youth by experimenting on Arani and torturing her. Arani then used the team to seek out her husband whom she believed was alive. reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DoomPatrol0104.jpg A member of the second Doom patrol, Joshua Clay is the first DC Comics hero to use the name Tempest. Along with Captain Comet, he was one of the few DC Comics heroes initially identified as a mutant. Joshua Clay was born in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York, the youngest of five children. His parents struggled to keep their family together in the middle of what was at that time in the 1960's one of the worst slums in the country. Despite his parents' best efforts, sixteen-year-old Joshua joined a street gang called the Stompers. Due to fallout from his time in the Stompers, seventeen-year-old Joshua Clay was given a choice between prison and service in the United States military. Upon choosing, Joshua was trained as a combat medic and shipped off to Vietnam. Less than a month before the end of his tour, Joshua witnessed the attempted massacre of an entire village of Vietnamese non-combatants by his sergeant. Horrified, Joshua unconsciously triggered his powers blasting the nomcom into unconsciousness. The stress of this discovery led Clay to go Awol and fled the country, eventually returning to the U.S. Clay spent the next ten years living as a fugitive. Arani Caulder tracked down Joshua Clay and enlists him as a member of the new Doom Patrol. Clay was active within this incarnation of the Doom Patrol for a year before it disbanded due to internal dissent. reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DoomPatrol0104.jpg The Brotherhood of Dada the Second Team, that was killed of by John Dandy. okay the one thing i am learning is that i suck at making robots, yep it is true. I can't make a good looking robotman for the life of me. so if you are good at making robots here are some references: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DCShowcase094-06.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DCShowcase094-05.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DCShowcase094-01.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DCShowcase094-00FC.jpg | |

| Okay all getting a little burnt out on Doom patrol, will still continue to make DP micro's here and there becuase they rock, but I am shaking it up a bit. But the list for DP list is long too, and i just added the plastic men to it last night. So many things i want to do and work on the list is endless lmao. I did make celsius today though: reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DoomPatrol0103.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/DoomPatrol0101.jpg The Headhunter: Miss Morrison: The Headhunter has returned to St. Roch. He's Brought new knowledge. He's brought new wickedness. Hawkgirl: You know him then. Who is he? Miss Morrison: This man is not a man, Kendra. St. Roch, you see. This town is a bit of a mystery to most folk. You can look in any history book or search the city records. And you won't find a single line about exactly when this city was established. One Day St. Roch, well, it simply was. And a city like this tends to attract lost souls, oddities, things that can't or shouldn't exist. In the 30's the expeditions through Ecuador, the explorers and media moguls like Robert Ripley, exposed the Jivaro Tribes to commercialism. Shrunken heads became a novelty for the rich. They became a product of hollywood and tourism like wooden idols and coral jewelry. Shipped to a small factiry in St. Roch, packaged and distributed through out the country. When the Outsiders infiltrated the Jivaro tribes, it was said a great headhunter decided to journey to our home to infiltrate our tribe. Traveling and collecting the heads of other people. Thristy for knowledge that would protect him and his family from the other world. In the year of 1937 several of St. Roch's Favorite sons and daughters, writers and historians, were found beheaded. Including the owners of that factory. Rumors of a headhunter haunted the streets. But you see while he was away, his family abandoned their customs and joined the modern world. They left their masks and dances behind. The Headhunter was left without a home a family to protect. Without a home. And Since then every few years, headless corpses are found in our city Blamed on the myth that is the Headhunter, he continues his journey. Collecting the minds of others. Hawkgirl: So he's like... What The last of his kind? Trying to survive? Miss Morrison: He will survive, miz kendra. The headhunter will survive. Hawkgirl: How is this? He gotta be... He's almost a 100 years old, then. Miss Morrison: older. Hawkgirl: But this is an urban legend. So who is he? Miss Morrison: He's returned to spill blood, child. Till he ain't thirsty no more. Till he moves on to another place. The people the Headhunter beheads is added to his shrunked head collection the dangles from his neck, by strains of long hair. He gains their knowledge and memories, but their is a down fall, they can still talk and pester him, if theya re still alive themselves. I am unhappy with the hair that attaches the heads to the headhunter, not sure how to make it look better. He started a career as a superhero and porn star together with fellow freaks Front Page and National Man, but later took away with all their money. Eventually, the CIA approached Nowhere Man to protect this Earth's President Eagleton from the mutant kids known as the Angel Mob. In this mission, Nowhere Man teamed up with and befriended Animal Man, who had accidentally crossed over to this timeline. Animal Man and Nowhere Man defeated the Angel Mob, but then regretted leaving them in the hands of the corrupt government. Even so, Lucinda of the Mob cured Nowhere Man's confused mind. Eventually, the two friends found a way for Animal Man to return to his world. The subsequent fate of Nowhere Man and his timeline are unknown. | Just a few Spectre Related micro's today, all are from Hal Jordon spectre series. First one is La Femme Spectre, which is Hal Jordon. Sometimes he appeared as an different Spectre when he was projecting different parts of his personality, not sure why he had a female personality, but he did. The second micro was me just screwing around with the flame out of the circle. For me to try new things is by screwing around with it lol First appeared in Spectre v4 #21. reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/TheSpectrev4_22-08.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/TheSpectre21-24.jpg Mistos was one of Hal Jordon villains. I liked this villain he was such a smart ass, when the spectre was so dry and serious it was a breathe of fresh air. first appeared in Spectre v4 #4. reference: https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/TheSpectrev4_06-03.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/TheSpectrev4_06-08.jpg https://2img.net/h/i119.photobucket.com/albums/o142/blue_beetle/TheSpectrev4_06-13.jpg | |

Kipling smokes cigarettes and drinks booze from sunrise to sunset. I think he drinks in his sleep too.
