There are various unfinished projects that I "should" finish but I doubt they will be. They won't be mostly because I just have feel like it. There is not the drive to do micros as there once was.

As for new ideas: there haven't been many. I've had a few ideas come to mind but nothing I thought was worth making except for 1 which most likely will be made & might be the last micro I make for awhile.

How about something completely different

I kid... I kid... But I just don't feel like making stuff anymore. I have/had been making Micro Heroes since late 2001/early 2002. That's a whole decade. That's a long time to do anything. I guess I've just grown out of it or just found other things to fill my time.

There a few last things that will be posted as they come. Either unfinished projects that I think people should see the work put into it or last micros that I want to put out there because I think people other then me should see them.

I can promise everyone you will get to see a hefty load of Beav's work sometime soon and it is really great. Thats all I'm saying for the time being

I've recently given some thought about doing another MIB Elf project.

I know I've basically stepped away from the whole Micro Heroes thing but the MIB Elf is something that I think I could make, get finished & would be fun to do. Not exactly sure if I'll actually do it at the moment. I wouldn't start up this project for at least another month or two so I've got some time to decide. Just thought I'd give people a heads up.

Probably the reason we have talked "in ages" is because I really haven't been around. I've been taking a break from basically everything micro heroes. I haven't be a regular posting member of MIB in months.

The next project (which will be a request project) wouldn't start any earlier then November 1st. That's over 2 week away, we've got to get Halloween out of the way before we start in on anything Christmas related

Glad you like them, Azrael. Both of your micros have a nice design to them, I just but my spin on them.

As i said not sure what else I'll be making/post until I start up my request project. I might make more MIB member. Not sure who, It all depends on who I find.

I have trouble doing black/dark shading. But im working on it, and I think I have a good balance. Plus I like that the costumes look like actual cloth. I guess im kinda lazy or oldschool on costumes fot heroes/villains because I prefer it to just color the body, so the outfight appears to be tight but I get the realistic point of view that it is an extra layer, etc.

Using darker colors is something you need work at & something I keep working on. It's easier to not spot mistakes with darker colors then it is with lighter colors.

I like the "cloth" look since it looks like someone is wearing a costume & not like someone had their costume painted on them.

As for being "kinda lazy": If I can reuse a part from a previous micro or use a template to speed up my micro making process I will. Most times when I'm making a micro: I'm piecing it together from parts of other microes & templates I have then recoloring what I've put together so it all looks right. I might redraw some stuff if I have too but most times I don't.

Thanks. I like the design Azrael made for the 2nd costume. It's lighter & got more design elements going on which makes for a more visual interesting micro to look at.

Azrael was a test to see if I could still make a micro after being away from so many months & for what I posted I guess I can

His micro was the first test, there is a large test forth coming: can I do request project? I think I should be able to but we'll just have to see.
