After the debacle of Doom trying to take over the world (again), Fury did every thing to escape from constantly saving the world. After the fake versions of Ironman made by Doom attacked him and the Alliance in Stark Tower he swore that Doom would pay. Little did he know that an unknown injury would be his downfall from grace? He suddenly collapsed from the pain. Waking up several days later in the refurbished S.H.E.I.L.D. Helicarrier he had realised that Tony Stark aka Ironman, James ‘Logan’ Howlett aka Wolverine and Matt Murdock aka Daredevil were standing over him ‘amused’. Barking with confidence Fury yells “What the hell are you all looking at?” Tony quipped “Now you owe me.” The metal felt cold – his arm had been replaced – from the shoulder down. “What the hell have you done?” he yelled as Logan fell to his knees laughing “now you know what it feels like

Steve Rogers aka Captain America
His death hit the world like a brick to the groin. With his death questions were left unanswered. Exactly one year after his death and the mastermind behind his death not yet caught, something amazing happened. His hand punched through the coffin, naked and confused he beat the crap out of a bum that was in an alley and stole his trousers and boots. The bum stabbed him in the chest – no effect, it did not even hurt. Was this the Super Soldier Serum or something else? Finding a back door to a outlet store, Steve broke in – this is where he found a shirt – it was like he was being guided. He found some spray paint and stared to spray his shirt. As he turned to face the mirror that was behind him he felt a presence. As he looked in the mirror he saw strange markings on his face around his eyes and mouth. He just wanted to get out of the store and yet he felt exhilarated just to be breaking the law. He turned to find that at his feet was a shield with the same star that he had just sprayed onto his shirt – “what the f@#$k was going on?” he thought as a crow appeared on the stand next to him. This was to be his guide – his eyes – and his conscience.
