Damian is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul. He was conceived the night that Bruce and Talia spent together in Wayne Manor. After Ra's Al Ghul brought Talia brought back to life, they placed a recently born Damian into a League of Shadows secret life support tank that aged him to the age of 6 in only 2 and half years. Since then he was trained by different members of the League to take his fathers place, and secretly to be the next vessel for Ra's. Though Damian does not like to follow the orders that his mother and grandfather give him forcing the two to grow impatient with him and Talia decides against her fathers wishes to give him to Bruce. However before he left she took a sample of his genetic material so she could clone him, thinking they could start over. Bruce is suprised to find that Damian is his and Talia's son, as he had though that she had died. He has to talk Selina into taking him in as its his duty as the boys father to do so, and she agrees, though she is not happy about it. Damian believes himself to be superior to the other members of his family, especially Tim and most of those members do not like to work with him. Bruce, after Damian becomes the new Robin decides to have Blake take him out during patrols as he thinks he might be able to lighten the boy up, which over time does actually start to occur.

Helena worked with her father, mother, and adoptive brothers as Robin for four years before Damian was left with her father. For some time she had been contemplating moving on from the role of Robin and adopting a new one, but isnt until Damian arrived that she finally made the decision, and she became the Huntress. She tries to have a relationship with her half brother but he easially gets on her nerves, unlike her younger brother Terry whom is 8 years younger than her. She is really very protective of Terry, and likes to help Alfred or her mother and father when they pick Terry up from school, than after she was able to drive she would pick him up herself. When Terry became Batman Helena tended to be slightly overprotective of him and spent a good amount of time helping him patrol the city. Over time she learned that Terry didnt need her to look over his shoulder with everything he does, though while he wont outright admit it he likes that she always has his back if he needs her. Helena's best friend lives in Metropolis and she tries to visit her when ever she gets the chance.

After the events of Rises Bruce and Selina traveled to Italy, inspired by Alfred to live their own lives. They decided to live on the Wayne family grounds of a vineyard located in Naples, and soon decided to get married. A year and half later their daughter Helena was born. Being married and becoming a father helped Bruce to let go of much of the anger that he had been carrying since the death of his parents and Rachel. It was for this reason that four years after they had left the city he returned to Gotham with Selina and Helena to become the Batman once again when he learned what his childhood friend was doing with his name. Alfred returned to him even though he disagreed with Bruce’s decision to become the Bat again due to the fact that he had seen that Bruce had changed and that he had more to live for now. Four years after they returned Selina gave birth to their first son, whom they had named Terry McGinnis Wayne, in honor of a family that had once adopted Selina. Two years before this Bruce learned that he had fathered another child with Talia, Bruce took Damian in, believing that he could help his son become a man that he could be proud of and put his League of Shadows training to good use. After Bruce decides to finally hang up the role of the Batman for good Terry takes over for him and Bruce tends to aid him from the cave when through the Batcomputer and a radio built into Terry’s cowl.

During their years away from Gotham living on the Wayne Family Vineyard Selina and Bruce married and had a daughter, whom they named Helena Martha Wayne. Eight years later Selina gave birth to their son whom they had named Terry McGinnis Wayne in honor of a family that she had been adopted by and she had actually liked before she had run away again. For the first time in her life Selina has learned that she can trust someone else fully with her secrets and that Bruce is that man. She also knows that both Bruce and Gotham have a need for Batman and is ready for the moment when he decides to return.Selina has also stopped using guns following Bruce's lead, and has now begun using a whip with three sharp cat like claws at the ends of each separate tip.

While Alfred disagrees with Bruce's decision to become The Batman once again he knows that Bruce has changed. Thanks to his relationship with Selina, and the birth of their daughter Helena he now has something to live for other than the future of Gotham, his family. He returns to Gotham when he believed Bruce had returned, though it had in fact been Tommy Elliot who had become the villian Hush posing as Bruce. With Elliot in Arkham and Bruce, Selina and their daughter deciding that their place was within Gotham City and Alfred decided to stay as well to aid in Bruce's new war on crime against the city to create a place where his daughter could be safe and happy in the future. Alfred, much to his delight is considered to be Helena's grandfather, and while that isnt the case through blood Bruce agrees that it is the case as he had been a father figure to him his entire life.

Lucius Fox remains the CEO of Wayne Enterprises, After the people of Gotham learn that Wayne Enterprises was helpful in the events that followed Banes reign of terror on the city the stocks in the company quickly rise, also earning back the money that Bruce had lost due to Banes attack on the Stock Exchange. Believing that Bruce would one day return Lucius continued creating things that he believed would aid in his fight, though for the time being John Blake is putting his creations to good use. Fox has since created a number of new Specialty cars, that he has since named the Batmobile, as well as a new high tech stealth boat.

When he was young Dick Grayson, a member of the Flying Graysons with his parents in Haleys Circus witnessed the death of his mother and father. Later that night he, as he sat outside Haleys office in a daze he overheard Haley arguing with a man by the name of Tony Zuco. Apparently Haley, and by extension the circus owed the mob a big debt, and Tony was the man sent to collect on it. Earlier that night Haley had refused to pay, saying that he didnt have the money. Zuco as a result had tampered with the wiring for the Graysons performance and had paid off a safety man to take the safety net down causing Dicks parents to fall to their deaths. Zuco had then gone to Haley and told him that with two less mouths to feed he could give him their share. Dick went to the police and told him what he had overheard and they placed him into Witness Protection when Tony Zuco had threatened Dicks life. Dick was sent to Gotham where he was given the new name Robin John Blake, though he preferred to go just by John Blake as his mother use to call him her little Robin. He was told that his new life story was that he had lost his mother at a young age and couldn't remember how it happened, but that he had seen his father killed by a drunk driver. When the family that had taken him in could find no way of helping him he was placed in the Gotham City Home for Boys. When he was old enough he wanted to make a difference in the world and became a cop on the GCPD, never losing his path or his values.

Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Jim Gordon and his ex wife Barbara Gordon. At the age of 17 she ran away from her mothers home in Chicago back to Gotham live with her father, claiming that she couldn't live with her anymore though Jim believes that she has not told him the entire truth. Jim who at the time was dating, and planning on proposing to his girlfriend Sarah Essex, a detective at the GCPD, welcomed her back with open arms as his wife had not allowed him much contact with her or her brother. Barbara took a job at the Gotham City Library at day, and by night she joined a karate school at the urging of her father. Ever since she, her mother, and brother were saved by Batman from Harvey Dent she has idolized the man, going so far as to put a mask on and attempted to stop a robbery attempt at a party being thrown by Bruce Wayne that her father brought her to. Batman and Nightwing intervened. The next day as she entered her room she found a wrapped box on her bed with a note that said if she wanted to continue she needed a proper suit and training. When she opened the box she found a armored Bat Suit as well as a series of coordinates as well as a day and time to meet. It was Blake that jokingly called her Batgirl and she liked the name, deciding to take it for her own. For three years Barbara Gordon patrolled the streets of Gotham City as Batgirl. Then, the night after the Joker escaped Arkham Asylum for the ninth time he went to to the home of the Gordons while Barbara was there to spend the night with her father and mother-in-law Sarah. Thinking their pizza had arrived when the doorbell rang Barbara got up to answer the door as her father had been injured earlier in the day. When she opened the door she was immediately shot in the stomach where the bullet hit her spine, permanently paralyzing her from the waist down. Jim chased the Joker down while Sarah stayed with Barbara and called the Paramedics, had it not been for the intervention of Batman Gordon would have beaten the Joker near death. While she laid in her hospital bed Barbara came to the conclusion that she wouldnt allow her disability to hinder her in her fight against the criminals of the city. With Bruce's blessing and help Barbara became The Oracle and set up her command center in Gothams clock tower.

Jason Todd was an orphan living on the streets of Gotham City until Tommy Elliot, posing as Bruce Wayne took him in when he attempted to steal the wheels off of one of his cars that he was driving. Annoyed with the boy, but seeing a way to hurt Bruce Elliot took him in. Shortly after Elliot tricked the boy into meeting with the Joker, whom he had told that the boy was important to the Batman, by telling him that he had found his mother and she wanted to see him. The Joker tortured him for days using a crowbar while he waited for the Batman to come to rescue him, when it apparent that he was not in fact coming to the rescue, as Bruce was out of the country and had yet to find out was happening, the Joker took his frustrations out on Todd and ended up killing him. When Bruce finally returned Elliot taunted him with this fact, that as Bruce Wayne he had sent a boy to his death. While he was not in any way responsible for Jasons death Bruce still feels responsible and took care of his funeral when his body was recovered. However before that could be done the League of Shadows, by order of Ra's Al Ghul had already taken the body and had resurected him. Ra's trained him how to fight like Bruce and sent him to Gotham with a suit and name. Jason is now the Red Hood, the anti hero of Gotham.

Tim was orphaned at the age of 13 when his father, Jack Drake, an archeologist was killed during when a chamber of an archelogical dig collapsed on him. With no other family able to take him in he was placed in the Gotham City Boys Orphanage. It was there that he met and befriended John Blake, and the two quickly developed a sort of brotherly bond. At the age of sixteen, now living in Wayne Manor with the rest of the boys of the Orphanage Tim was kicked out when Tommy Elliot, posing as Bruce Wayne took back Wayne Manor claiming it for himself. This caused the return of Bruce, Selina, and their daughter Helena to Gotham and Bruce taking back his family home. With the Waynes now once again residing within Wayne Manor, and the Boys home also calling it home Bruce decided to have a seperate home for the boys to be built on the grounds of Wayne Manor, though allowing the boys to still have access to the Manor. Bruce, who saw something in Tim, and out of respect decided to adopt Tim, though he would act as a surogate father/ brother figure to most of the boys Tim is the only boy to be adopted by Bruce. One night while he was looking for Blake, who also resides within the Manor, he follows him into the study and discovers him entering the cave and follows him. He pleads with Blake to allow him to help, and soon Blake relents and speaks to Bruce on the matter who agrees, though sets the condition that Tim is not allowed to go out into Gotham until he has been trained and he believes he is ready. Tim takes the name Robin, out of respect for his friend and brother Robin John Blake. Realizing that he had outgrown the role of Robin and that soon Helena may be taking the role Tim decided to take on a new identity. He choose to in some way keep the name of Robin, as the name still meant much to him and greatly defined who he was. He choose to become Red Robin.

Cassandra Cain is the daughter of David Cain who was a member of the League of Shadows until he decided to leave the league for a life of crime. He taught his daughter how to deal with physical pain by beating and shooting her, as well as training her to be a deadly assassin. The two traveled to Gotham when events in the city caught the attention of Cain. Cassandra was told to stay back in assess the situation as Cain fought with the Batman, however the more she watched the fight the more she came to respect the Batman as while her father was fighting to kill him the Batman was fighting to stop him without causing his death. When Cain gained an advantage and was readying to shot Batman she intervened, disarming her father by breaking both of his arms. The Batman surprised that a young girl had been able to fight off a former member of the League of Shadows offered to take the girl in and to train under and fight for him. Cassie agreed, and took on the mantle of Batgirl that had been vacant since Barbara's accident.

Stephanie Brown is the daughter of one of Gothams lesser known third rate villians, the Cluemaster. When Stephanie grew tired of him mooching off of her mother in between his stints in jail she put on a purple spandex suit that she had bought as well as a cape and mask and took her father down on her own and gave him back to the GCPD. Little did she know that Tim Drake as Robin,, whom she goes to school with, had been watching, and impressed with her skills and introduced her to Bruce. Bruce believing her to have skills, but not wanting her to live the life of crime fighter as he originally thought that she wasnt doing it for the right reasons decided not to train her. Tim knowing that she would not stop just because Bruce wouldnt train her decided to do it on his own. The two, soon developed a close connection and began to date. When Tim introduced Stephanie to Cassandra the two quickly developed a close, almost sisterly friendship and Cassandra began to train her how to fight as well as she was better than Tim, being almost at the skill level of Bruce. Over the years the years Stephanie has grown as a hero in her role of the Spoiler and the other members of the Batfamily have taken notice, most notably Bruce and Cassandra. Her positive attitude has had a huge impact on everyone, Bruce especially. Cassandra after having talked things over with Bruce decided to pass the identity of the Batgirl onto Stephanie. Soon after, Tim and Stephanie entered college at Gotham University and Tim would propose to her, to which she agreed. In the future she and Tim had a son together that they named Matt, who would be like a younger brother to Bruce and Selina's son Terry.

Terry McGinnis Wayne is the 2nd child of Bruce and Selina Kyle and their only son. Terry was named for a family that had adopted Selina when she was young that she had actually liked before running away from home. When he was young Terry idiolized his father as the Batman and respected his mother and sister for their roles as Catwoman and Robin. Terry has always been close to to the other members of his family and loves to spend time with his uncle Tim and Aunt Stephanie and their son Matt. During High School Terry was known for picking fights and was sent home on occasions, though he always claimed that he was taking on the bullies so others didnt have too. His girlfriend is Dana Tan, and his best friend is Maxine Gibson. When his father decides to hang up his cowl for good Terry, behind his father and mothers back takes the suit to take his fathers place. Bruce feeling extremly worried and angry attempts to shut the suit down and send Tim as Red Robin out to retrieve him, but Terry pleads with his father that he needs to do this, that Batman has to go own, that as his son it should be him to follow in his fathers footsteps. Bruce concedes with Selina's blessing and promises to further his sons training. Now Terry is the 2nd generation of Batman, he is the Tomorrow Knight.
