| Hey folks. I've got a little down time so I decided to jump back into the game for a bit. Here's a new Star Wars addition. Palpatine - Return Of The Jedi I used the image of Palpatine walking down the ramp of the shuttle from the Return Of The Jedi as a reference. | |

| Thanks everybody. I don't usually like to touch the prequel stuff. But, here's one for the Anakin fans. Anakin Skywalker - Revenge Of The Sith EDIT: Can anyone help me out with a good program for saving in gif format that doesn't pixelate the image? I'm having a hell of a time with this. I can't figure out if it's the program or the level of detail in my micro's. I'm using jrfanview. If anyone could help enlighten me on this matter, I'd greatly appreciate it.

| They're a little, too detailed for me. <.< They look good, just, i'm not a big fan of the "overly detailed, picture quality" micros <.< Right now, It doesn't even look like a micro to me. It's more like, Pixel art or something.
Meh, just an opinnion. | |

| I think that's what makes them good. You keep your own style Abel, I know when I tried doing something that would be signature Devon, it didn't work, everyone else started doing it too. If you don't make the Photo-Realistic Micros... Then no one will. | |

| second that^^ its hard to make a unique style cause if he isnt too complicated or to far away from the own abilities too many rob that style...
to topic...it is a awesome micro again abel hope you still workin on that MIB/jla thing ..or i not post how far you get

| txf - Hm, it's hard to analyze exactly what you're really saying with that comment. You obviously didn't add anything constructive. Seems like trolling to me. Razor Infinity - See above response. Devon Farmer - Well, that's partly why I make them the way I do. There's really no mistaking my micro's for anyone else's. You shouldn't give up on your style though. I mean, people can copy it, but everyone knows it's yours. Thanks man. Burningbird - Well, I'm sorry to have to disappoint you but no I am not doing that jla/mib project anymore. After a while I felt annoyed every time I opened photoshop. It just wasn't fun anymore. It was a good experiment though. And to answer your other question, I don't recall how much more I finished. I could check, but I think I deleted it when I was cleaning out my pictures folder a while back. Thanks for the nice comments. Konpakku - I'm going to start saving in png format from now on. It seems to retain all of the quality much better. Thanks for the tip though. I'll be sure to remember that for future reference. Drake - Good to see you too man. Thanks for that compliment. Spector - Thanks man. He was actually really easy to do. Characters garbed in black are pretty easy to make actually. kgoku - Thanks man. Dark Riku - Thanks. To be honest, with all of the younger folks around, I figured you'd all go ape over Anakin long before the original Palpatine. It's a delightful surprise lol. Kagemusha - Thanks man. Sadly, my old avatar contracted rabies and was forced to be put down. In keeping with the Star Wars theme, I did Darth Vader. Darth Vader Believe it or not, I used Dick Cheney as a reference when making him.

| It's less of a micro and more of a work of art People can keep their feeling on what constitutes a micro and what doesn't. (There was a time when posed micros weren't considered real micros once ) In my opinion, if someone's willing to go the extra mile and make the micro photo-accurate, we all benefit. There's alot even the most experienced micro makers can learn from looking at work that is different to theirs. Abel, these are f-ing fantastic. I'm a huge star wars nerd and I love them. If you'd like some advice, try to save them in a .png format. That doesn't limit you on how many colours you can use and it doesn't compress the file. It also still allows for transparency. In short, fantastic, stunning work (that I'm going to spend ages in PSP trying to learn from) and it's great to see you again | |

| Thanks Fudge. I actually just stumbled on that earlier. I remembered someone telling me that a while back. I'll tell ya it's a good thing I don't delete my initial png saves before I put them through jrfanview lol. Here's Anakin and Palpatine without pixelation. Also, for anyone interested in giving this style a shot themselves, I've got a tutorial in the tutorials section of the board that gives a few tips on doing it. | |

| I didn't mean anything bad by my comment<.<..I just meant, it's not really my favorite style of micro(They're still good, I just prefer, like, the style you mostly see, the comic/cartoony style). I also said good micro<.< And that vader however, is freaking awesome | |

| Darth is nice, although I think Palpatine looks the best in this style. The amount of darkness on him works well with the form you have chosen. Anakin is a good work, but his big headedness is a little creepy to me. It just doesn't fit such the photo realistic micro in my opinion.
And congratulations for the most controversial gallery! =p | |
