| I hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas; I know that the 25th was spent in good company relaxing for myself... Now, on to what you guys actually want from my gallery... not talking, but rather micros. Here are teh latest ones from my X-Change series with Necroleaf: 1. Callisto - Uncanny X-Men (1st series) #169 I like the look; simple but complicated all at once 2. Rusty "Burns" Collins - Marvel Zombies #3 He wasn't terribly complicated, but I like the nod to his X-Terminators look that this one is 5. Phantazia - X-Men Unlimited (1st series) #2 Again, bathing suits are easy to make, but I had a heck of a time making a passable hair look... don't know how well I succeeded 6. Squirrel Girl - Marvel Superheroes #8 I know that the ref for this look is very androgynous, but I decided to make it more evident that she's a woman... hope you don't mind the artistic license... 7. Masque - X-Treme X-Men (1st series) #39 Fun to make, but there was a lot of cursing when I tried to shape the lapels - I did make a conscious choice to exaggerate the hat on the first look; as it made me think of the Mad Hatter... it needed to be done! 9. Banshee - Generation X #18 Vintage look, had to use yours for a ref though... good memories 10. Copycat - X-Force (1st series) #100 I took liberties on this, as there are no refs showing her boots 12. 19X/X-Man - X-Man #61 This was perhaps my favorite look on your list; the metal shading was fun and the helmet was a blast! I also made the two variations of that same look that he rocked in issue 62 as well. now for the X-mas X-change requests: 1. last year you made Crux and Xhaos, why not complete the rest with either Grey King, Mercury, Landslide or Rapture of the Deadly X-Men I made both Grey King and Mercury this time 2. any version of Neal Shaara AKA Thunderbird I decided to make his Unlimited looks, as you're the only one to make the X-Training uni look, and no one has made the others yet. 5. Thunderclap - Civil War: Front Line #3 He was interesting to make; not hard, but I wanted to make sure that the gauntlets I made weren't simply rip offs of your work 6. Typhoid (Typhoid Mary) - Elektra (2005 film) Not bad; the refs were a little grainy and I couldn't find better ones, but I think I did well, all the same. 8. the all time favourite !!Suprise Me!! option!! I decided to make two different micros: DominoII from Domino (vol 2) #1 which you'd requested previously; and Callisto from X-Factor (vol 3) #18) as it looks similar to the Uncanny look you requested I hope you liked what I came up with Credit to Anth, Darkling, TXF, Joffre, Zoo, and Santi for hair; Anth, Necroleaf, and LilithVonSilver for micro refs; and Patronus for Squirrel Girl's tail. Enjoy! Also, a million well wishes for you all during the holiday season! _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't. | So, new year, new micros! I figured I'd start another new round of clues, but before that, some micros without the work of figuring out the names... These new micros are all from the New X-Men (vol 1) series, the unnamed students shown all over their pages... For these ones, they are all remakes of Pared's micros in my style, so all the credit to him Now on to the clues! 1 - His codename comes from his age 2 - The third to bear this codename, though there is no connection to the previous two 3 - Keeping just slightly out of beat with others is the basis of this mutant's powers 4 - His battlecry is connected to the reverse of his name 5 - Her connection to the Holy Roman Church isn't just her choice in codename _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't. 1 2 - Neal Shaara 3 4 5 - Aurora? Glad you like the micros; hopefully, he will too. Neal is correct, Aurora isn't. 1 point. 1 - ? 2 - Neal Shaara 3 - ? 4 - ? 5 - ? 1 point for Necroleaf _________________ Thanks to all those how have made me avvies.... those I could fit on this and those I couldn't. | #4 is Namor (assuming his name in reverse is Roman and his usual battlecry is Imperious Rex)
i'm guessing #5 is Stigmata | |
