Microstein Labs: My “Rather Late” Quick Replies…

Going through your posts is always fun. You have some awesome micros, and I always like to see large groups of micros together. Those Ren & Stimpy pics are hilarious.

Greetings All,

Just thought I’d share a little something with ya’ll before I get to the actual post.


Last night we had a major thunderstorm, which knocked our power out 3 times in 4 hours, but things were back to normal just in time for my 5 AM “Power Rangers” – so long “Overdrive”… hello “Jungle Fury”!!!

- Yeah… I still watch “Power Rangers”. What can I say… I dig the monsters.

Anywho… after I reset all the clocks, and reprogrammed the VCRs for all my shows… I decided to get on the computer and post my latest Micro Machinations. I figured… “What the h@ll… I’m already up.”

The only problem was… my computer didn’t want to come on.

Needless to say… I FREAKED!!!

- Although… truth be told… I always “freak” when something goes wrong with the computer.



But… after double-checking everything and using the hairdryer on it (dust), I was able to get it up and running again. Unfortunately, the storm somehow managed to fry 4 ports on my surge protector… so I’ll have to look for a new one. I’ll also have to look for a new mouse. But that’s due to basic wear and tear… not the storm.

I’m just glad that I didn’t lose everything.

I usually try to save my work, but sometimes things are just too big. And while some folks could care less about my stuff… I certainly don’t want to lose any of it.

That’s what I was really worried about. Everything… GONE!

Well, “that”… along with the cost for repairs.

Or worse yet… having to buy a brand new computer.



Ok, well… now that I’ve told you of my latest scare… it’s “POST TIME”!!!

Sorry I haven’t been around lately, but things have been a bit hectic for me. As usual… not enough time in the day. With that said, I just haven’t been able to whip up as many Micros as I had originally planned too.

Guess it’s just a case of my having too many irons in the fire, although… I did get a nice surprise recently. Trickster74 included me in his “TINY DINO” storyline.

Truth be told, he was worried that I might not be ok with him using my avatar, but like I told him… “Don’t sweat it. It’s cool.”

Besides… I’ve been known to do a little “tweaking” myself… as I’m sure RayneKirby can attest to. HA!

Anywho… here’s what Trickster74 whipped up… with a slight “tweaking” by yours truly.

RayneKirby – I’m glad you got a kick out of my little “gifts”. I really hadn’t planned on the whole “vixen” thing, but hey… I’m a guy… a sick and twisted guy… but a guy all the same. Besides… I needed some kind of sexy outfit for your “BLACKEST NIGHT” Micro, and needless to say… I found a few… along with a bevy of Micro beauties just waiting for my magic touch.

- Looks like the ol’ Doc is getting’ ready for… “DATE NIGHT”!!! Talk about scary. HA!


But seriously, I’m really glad that you liked them. I have to admit that I wasn’t too sure how you’d take them, like I said… I just hope I don’t get my face slapped.

Oh! And for the record… my next batch of RK Micros will be a bit tamer, and I certainly hope that you’ll enjoy them.

I also want to thank you (yet again) for whippin’ up that monster for me, to go with your “Apocalyptic World”. I’m calling him “Cuddles” simply because he’s just so darn cute. OH! And no matter what some folks are sayin’about him… he DOES have a winky, so you might want to consider whippin’ him up a mate A.S.A.P.

- Just thought I’d give ya a heads up.

Also… I’ve updated the “Apocalyptic” Micro version of me. Not that I didn’t like your original, I just thought that with a scab like that on my face… I’d better get the rest of myself looked at as well. Needless to say, it turned out to be a rather nasty little virus, and it spread to over half my body. I had already the lost the sight in my one eye, my right arm motor skills were quickly diminishing, nerve damage was running rampant, and the thought of becoming one of the very slobbering, mutated masses that I helped to create… well… “that” would never do.

So… after a few “repairs”… a bit of madness… and a whole lot of dark dealings added to the mix… I was able to recreate myself.

Now, all I have to do is decide on a motto…

“It’s better to rule in Hell, than to serve in Heaven!”

“The only good human… is a dead human!”

“Blondes… the other white meat!”

Or… my personal favorite…


“I’VE GOT CHEESE IN MY PANTS!!!!!!”



Anywho… here are the stages of my “rebirth” as it were, including my now growing mane.




Additionally… you shouldn’t be so surprised that you’re such a hit, after all… you’re “AMERICA’S SWEETHEART”… remember?

Like I said… confusing.

First up is a little something I did for Sir Engel Uriel a while ago for his “Birth of an Angel”, followed by a little somethin’ that even Sir hasn’t seen. That is… until now. To be honest, I’ve been somewhat hesitant to post them simply because to me… they just didn’t have the right feel for Sir’s storyline. Besides, Sir’s creations have a much more “angelic” feel to them, while mine… don’t.

Try as I might… I just couldn’t get his technique right.
