Zarus Tyran's Gallery: Earth 3 and M.I.B. Rangers

Thanks Guys! I thought I'd shift moods a little with an Idea I got from a relatively old issue of The Authority. The Idea of the G-7 Authority got me thinking, "What if the Avengers were stepping on the toes of a group of Corporate leaders who ran the world." So I came up with a team of Avengers created to replace the Original Avengers that would answer to this group. I give you the members of the Corporate Avengers.

Corporate Avengers: When a group of Corporate leaders who truly run the United States removed the Avengers, they knew they had to be replaced. Choosing a group of five nobodies working for the companies, they created a team similar to the original avengers. A copy of Captain America was chosen to replace the Hulk as attempts to replicate his power were difficult at best. The Members are:


Statesman: Formally the head of security of the largest of the Five Companies. Statesman was given a version of Goblin formula used by Roderick Kingsley when he became the Hobgoblin. The formula was weakened so as to better simulate the powers of Captain America. Armed with a Kevlar costume and a duplicate of Captain America's shield, once owned by US Agent, Statesman plays the role of leader of the Corporate Avengers. Naturally he always makes sure to help his company by appearing in ad for them to help sell their products.


Pixie: Once just a mere secretary for one of the VP's of one of the Five Companies. Pixie was selected to wear a special costume that would allow her to shrink and grow a double set of wings from her back. In addition, she is able to spread a special "Pixie Dust" over targets that can knock them out, make them see vivid hallucinations, or on covert missions for the Five Companies kill the target. Mainly used as a scout and infiltrator, Pixie is treated like a handy assistant by the other Corporate Avengers. However due to the misogyny of the Five Companies, she's never taken seriously and is treat like a scapegoat should a mission fail.


Titan: Once a lab assistant for one of The Five Companies. When the Corporate Avengers was planned, the Five Companies knew they'd need someone with enough brains to recognized high-end tech for their own use. So Titan was given a special Pym Particle suit to give him super strength and the ability to grow to great heights. The nerd of the group, Titan spends much of his time maintaining the equipment of the Corporate Avengers. Due to his geeky past he most believes that he and his teammates are heroes, and not enforcers of the status quo.


Olympian: Once just a minor factory worker from Greece working for one of the Five Companies. Since they couldn't find Asgardian object to use, they instead used Grecian artifact found on a dig by one of the Companies on a "charitable mission". Called the armor of Atlas and the sandals of Hermes, these gave Olympian strength, speed, and the ability to fly. In addition a special weapon called the Mace of Zeus was created to mimic Thor's hammer. Able to shoot lighting bolts and return to Olympian's hand when thrown. Acting as the bruiser of the Corporate Avengers, Olympian pretends to be a demigod son of Zeus and uses his knowledge of the language of Greece to help sell it.


Leadsuit:One the pilot and limo driver of the CFO of the last of Five Companies. After being "accidentally" losing the use of his legs in a plane crash, Leadside was offer his armor which allow him to walk again. The armor is a composite of old versions of Titanium Man's, Crimson Dynamo's, and even a early suit of Guardsman armor stolen by the Five Companies. As it was revealed that Tony Stark was Iron Man, Leadside plays the part of the brains of the team. This is helped by a teleprompter built into his armor's viewscreen so he can give explanations without difficulty. Leadside armor is build to act as firepower for the Corporate Avengers, and the Five Companies are working on a less powerful version to sell to the Us Government.

Well that's it for now. A point of note, I purposely left the Corporate Avengers true names, and the names of the Five Companies a blank. This is so others can fill in who they are and which companies would be members. I know something was done like this with the Dark Avengers, but this was still fun. Enjoy!

Virtue Unlimited: While Tigress was helped into the hero world by Athena, The Goddess needed someone who could be her champion in world as Superwoman was for Ares. She fortunately had one in Circe who had been living on Olympus for a few centuries now. Unfortunately Ares knew of his sister's plan and told his champion how to stop her by trapping her on an island near Jamaica. As a result Circe use her talents to form a team of women she would guide from her island prison, which became their base of operations. The team became know as Virtue Unlimited as that was what would eventually stop Superwoman and her master. The members are:


Circe: Contrary to The Odyssey Circe wasn't an evil sorceress. She was in fact one of Odysseus' comrades who used her magic to help guide him home. Afterwards she became one of the chief sorceresses of Ithaca. However after the great hero is killed by poison, Telemachus has her bound for execution for it. Fortunately Athena use her magic to allow her to escape and brought her to Olympus. It was there she was told that it had really been Telemachus, hoping to gain the crown. While Circe wanted revenge, Athena told her she had saved her for a greater purpose. She would be useful as her personal champion of justice. Granted immortality by the goddess, Circe wander the world over the centuries helping wherever she could. with her magic she took on various disguises such as Joan of Arc, Mona Lisa, Fa Mulan, and even Harriet Tubman. Her last adventures where as Amelia Earhart, with her mysterious disappearance her way of returning to Olympus. When Superwoman appeared on earth to cause mayhem for Ares, Athena called on her champion again. This time however Ares had planned on this. Using chains once forge by Hephaestus to bind the titan Prometheus, the evil amazon trapped her on a minor island near Jamaica. Then Ares had a spell placed so no man would ever find the island, as only a son of Zeus could remove them. Unable to help her champion free herself, Athena instead provided her with the materials to turn the island into a citadel of Justice and draw a team of women to help her in her goals. While unable to leave or directly assist her team Circe acts as both mentor and central command feeding them information as they need it. She also helps Ms Fortune with her training.


Dee Cypher: Cylvia Anita Cyber was once just an expert in computers and robotics. One evening while she was busying constructing a new android for the government, Superwoman broke in. She was there for the jade dragon statue Cvlvia's father left her, which was made of Kryptonite and was responsible for his cancer. It was soon after that Tigress came on the scene to find out what the evil amazon was after. As the fight broke out Superwoman knocked Dr. Cyber into her computers and electrocuted her. She then left with the green K while Tigress left with the corpse hoping to give it a proper burial. What neither knew was the electricity interacted with her mind and downloaded it into her android. Shocked she ran out into the night to the home of her friend Molly. While shocked at her friend's transformation Molly agreed to help her. As it turned out Molly had just started to become a costumed heroine, and suggested Cylvia do the same. As a result she became known as Dee Cypher, an old screen name of hers, and soon the pair was drawn to Jamaica where they joined Virtue Unlimited. As Dee, Cylvia works as the team's tech expert and repairs their vehicles. Thanks to her new body Dee can fire various types of energy blast and is second only to Titaness in terms of strength. Whenever she gets downtime, Dee studies in search of a way to return to a human body. While both Circe and Ms. Fortune have offered to use their magic to help, Dee has turned them down. As a scientist she doesn't trust anything that can't be explained scientifically and feels science got her into this and it will get her out of it. In the meantime she also tinkers with her new body to improve it's functions and give herself new powers.


Aunty Toxin: Molly Mayne was named after her great aunt, who was also known as Merry Fool. Both Molly's mother and grandmother though the girl's namesake was a fool. Despite the women's rights movement the pair had felt that a woman's place was either in the home or teaching children as it had been for centuries. As such the girl was a second chance for family to have a Molly who knew where she should be. But the young Molly was far too much like her namesake. Wanting to make something of herself she convinced her mother to let her go to medical school. Mrs. Mayne was delighted at the idea, for it would be an excellent way for her to meet a nice young doctor to marry. In truth Molly was studying various poisons and how they affected the body. Her goal was to create an universal cure for most poisons. While there Molly met Cylvia Cyber, who was studying the human form as part of her goal of making humanoid robots. The two became fast friends. After years of study she Molly soon got her doctorate in medicine and became a pharmacist. Eventually she found out what her great aunt was famous for. It stirred something inside her. Here her namesake was a true heroine, but her mother and grandmother wanted her to bake pies and have babies like them? She soon decided what she would do. Using her knowledge of medicine, Molly fashioned a special dart gun that fired different types of chemical filled darts that looked like syringes. These would either knock out the person they hit or force them to tell the truth. With this weapon as her tool Molly then fashioned a special nurses outfit to disguise her appearance and became the crime fighter Aunty (pronounced "Anti") Toxin. As she began to fight crime she soon learned of what happened to her old friend and offered to help. Now with her friend as her partner, Toxin and Cypher found themselves in Jamaica where they would join Virtue Unlimited. Molly often acts as the team's medic after battles and has been both adding to her chemical arsenal, and helping Dee with her research. Someday Molly hopes to not only save her friend but to prove to her fore mothers what a woman can do.


Titaness: Doris Zuel was once just simple secretary. Her whole world was just making enough money to help her dying father. Then one day, after learning her father died in his sleep, she was kidnapped. She soon found herself at a bizarre lab. The lab was one of those based on the Martians work, only using young women. Superwoman's latest plan was to create a new breed of super-powered amazons loyal to her to cause unceasing war on Earth. Soon Doris was subjected to an experiment in size manipulation. Over a dozen women went through the process, she alone survived. Now able to grow to enormous size, Doris tried to escape. However a special shock collar kept from being able to grow too large or escaping. While being studied in hope of duplicating the success she represented, Doris became friends with another woman trapped named Valerie who had survived her experiment as well. Finally one evening a group of H.I.V.E. soldiers arrived the raided the research center. During the confusion Doris and Valerie escaped together. They soon learned they were in Jamaica, the local government had secretly been helping the project hoping to claim the fruits of it for themselves. Soon an odd voice drew them to an island not far away. It was there that hey met Circe and learned of her mission. Excited Doris soon joined Virtue Unlimited as the powerful Titaness. Doris is the Muscle of the team and sees her new life as the chance of a lifetime. She stay close to Valerie and hopes to bring her out of her shell.


Ms. Fortune: Nicole Diaz was once just a normal Indian immigrant . Like many she came to America looking for opportunity. As a result she might have become just another low level worker for some company if not for a chance meeting with a nameless mystic from her home country. Old and sick, he knew he was not long for this world and sensed a potential in her. For over two years he taught her all he knew in the mystic arts. Soon she had the ability to command elements such as air, the manipulation of magical energy that she can manifest as offensive force bolts and green flame, the ability to dissolve matter, and create ground tremors. Finally the mystic's time was up and asked that she use her powers to help people. Nicole's chance came soon, but not in the way she suspected. A few days after her mentor died, Immigration arrived at Nicole's door. As it turns out, she had forgotten to renew her visa and they were there ask why. While the actual Immigration officer was understanding, the two racist policemen with him weren't. When one accosted her, Nicole defended herself with a bolt of magical energy. Unfortunately the other managed to taser her while she was distracted. She soon found herself in a cell with a officer from H.I.V.E. looking down on her. He offered her a deal, work with them on a case or two, or be shipped back to India where her powers would likely get her killed. Seeing no other choice, Nicole accepted. As her powers seemed to give her bad luck, the other agents called Ms. Fortune as a joke. She soon found herself in Jamaica helping with a raid on an illegal genetics lab. While Nicole found herself feeling good about saving these innocent women, she was disgusted with the agents talk of possibly using the information to create super soldiers for H.I.V.E. As the mission ended, Nicole went AWOL and fled into the jungle. Following a mysterious voice, Nicole soon discovered Circe's island and became a member of Virtue Unlimited. Nicole is Circe's representative in the group and is the team magic expert in the field. While she still dislike it, she's kept the name Ms. Fortune as it now means bad luck to those who do evil.


Dark Angel: Valerie Beaudry's parents were both exposed to harmful levels of radiation following a series of nuclear tests. As a result, Valerie was born with severe physical deformities. Valerie grew up a recluse with little to no outside exposure. Finally on her eighteenth birthday her parents took her to the park, though she force to disguise herself as a Muslim to keep people from knowing the truth. While her parents when to get the car when the day was done, a group kidnapped the girl. When the kidnappers saw her face they almost released her, until they remembered the lab needed people for the Fury project. When the test were over Valerie had the power of flight thanks to a pair of natural wings that grew from her back, and a sonic screech that could shatter steel. The process had the unexpected side effect of making her extremely beautiful. Despite her new looks, Valerie was still terrified and only a woman named Doris was able to get her to talk. Finally one evening an assault team broke into the lab. Seeing the distraction, Valerie used powers to shatter Doris' slave collar, which allowed Doris to destroy Valerie's in turn. Soon the pair was tromping through the Jamaican jungle. When the pair discovered Circe's Island and heard her offer Doris accepted immediately. Valerie was a little more slow with her response, but said yes as well. Because of her new look, yet dark attitude, she called herself the Dark Angel. Dark Angel is the team's air support and combines with Ms. Fortune and Dee Cypher as it's firepower. Both the youngest and the shyest of Virtue Unlimited, Valerie often only speaks when spoken to and spends little time with anyone, save Titaness who acts like a big sister to her. She hopes to someday find her parents again and show them what has become of their little angel.

Well I've given myself a challenge with the above. After all making someone more creepy than Shadow Khan is no mean feat! But thanks to the person who made the trandoshan I've gotten a good start.



Hopefully I'll finish the rest soon. In the meantime any thoughts would be helpful.
