Perfect Lilly Hammer. I tried making one myself, but I couldn't get the chest pieces to look right. I don't know how you managed to capture them but great job! Ignacia looks reat too!

Thanks Spec! I actually recycled the breastplates, and left guantlet, as well as part of the hammer and helmet....

I think it helps to work directly from the source material- I have files of anything I work on for reference, and open them in Photoshop along with the Micro templates, then I can keep checking back, and grab the colors....

Next up on the Wildguard makeover train : Snapback! It took me a while to do this one...the stretchy hero doesn't like to look 'normal' apparently, so it was hard to find panels where he wasn't all taffy-looking....Then, I had to modify a couple templates to suit me...

We got new, stretched, and civilian clothes, again from Casting Call issue 5....



I re-used the hair, sorta- just a lot of recoloring....the rest is new.
Creds: Emissary's Accessory template was happy to donate some shorts and a shirt. The left big hand is based loosely on one of Twisted Micro's templates.

Ya ever look at something and keep seeing something else? While I was freehanding the other Big Hand, I kept seeing an animal...so I gave in and made it....



I upsized him once for fun. Anyone think they can do anything with him, feel free, I'm sticking him in my Template thread as well...

Looks like Red Rover's up next- we'll save Four for last, being as she's the queen bee and I've never actually done her before....

Yet another Wildguard update!

Cobbled together some more templates, did up Red Rover in a regular standing postion and a newer "Gotcha" pose. He's never been seen in civilian clothes, so I threw in 3 new Micros which I'm pretty sure no one's ever done before. These three baddies only appeared in a few online Web-strips.....they made allusions to RR's past (apparently he took out Enerjak's other eye! ).

No worries Monsieur Joe, all my temps usually get stuck in my Template thread right after I finish posting the Micros on the various boards.

Wildguard Update Numbah 6!!

She got slighted in the first go-round when I was doing these in a sort of scattershot manner....and she's the leader of the team!!

She's an actress, she's a singer, she's a supermodel, she's a super hero! It's Teri Vaughn, better known as Four!

Regular costume, alternate costume, new costume, civilian look.


In Casting Call, her black costume parts were shiny and leather like. In other appearances, they're more matte looking, with no belt buckle. And the in the latest pictures, she's got a new costume. Civilian clothes shown from her appearance on a morning show with Morgan and Corky (Regis and Kelly... ) in Firepower.

Creds: Her civilian outfit was made from clothing templates, one Emissary's, one older. Todd Nauck has stated that the character is based on Jennifer Garner, so I worked hard on that face.....

They don't call her Four 'cause she's an actress/model/singer/superhero.....it's because she has four powers! She can turn into Kervinium, a near-indestructible metal; fire laser blasts, project beams of force from her mind, and turn into a gaseous cloud!

Monday's update: Even more Four! After that, we get into the also-rans who didn't make the team!

Before she was anything else, she was a little kid- sort of a child star- known as Four Power Girl. Then, she had a sitcom, "She's Four Teen!". Then, she went on to become a super model, singer, and superheroine...



Four Power Girl, Four Teen, modeling outfit from WG:Casting Call #3, outfit I saw Lorelei wearing on Gilmore Girls and thought would be perfect for Four.....

Creds: Emissary's clothing template for some items, assorted other clothing temps...

Next- the 15 other heroes who made it to the end but didn't win....beginning with a girl from the stars and a guy with a heart of steel....

Been a while, but I had some challenges to overcome!

The Wildguard contestants were narrowed down to 20 in the book. Only 5 made the team.
The next Micros are the rest of the 15.

Astro Girl, Strong-Bot



Astro Girl's kinda like Adam Strange, if he were a cute pink-haired chick. Strong-Bot's, well, a bot.

Credits: Rat for the excellent Swordwoman template. Without the hand he made, I couldn't have made the other hand.
Copper for his 110% Male template. Kid Chaos for his shading technique....

Some new temps from them over in the thread.

Next- maybe SB's other look. Then maybe I'll do the other peeps in alphabetical order- i went to these two because they had never been Micro'ed AFAIK.

Now they are an awsome pair! well done!

So, in alphabetical order, it's American Icon (Loren Randall actually got bumped off in WG:FG #1), Aqua-Chica, and Conductra, in her old togs and new.



All these guys were either done by me or someone else before, but needed cleaned up....Conductra's new outfit has only appeared in the on-line web strips so far....

Creds: Borrowed the outline for Condy's old costume from the older Micro. Sunglasses rebuilt from an old temp. All new otherwise.
