Thanks for all the comments folks! Everyone sure did like that shield...I won't go into how easy it was to make, I apparently don't take compliments well and try to show how I really didn't do anything...so this time I won't!

Just a little challenge I set myself- using Jodmos' template for the Coloring Contest, how many different things could I come up with?

I stopped at 12....



My actual entry- Starman IX, son of Mikaal Tomas. Captain Rainbow, colorful crusader. Heatwave, with a burning heart of fire. Meteoric, contact with a fallen star caused him to turn to metal.



Buzzstar, the flying bug zapper. Sergeant Fist, the U.S. Army's mascot Meta. RockStar- geomorphic hero. Air Support- U. S. Air Force's flying hero- colors based on F6F Hellcat.



Northern Light, ice blaster from the polar wastes. Top Cop, empowered by the U.S. federal government to enforce our laws nationwide. Obligatory patriotic hero, Commander USA. And, the guardian of the galaxies, Space Traveler.

Why did I do it? I dunno. I really should have been doing more Wildguard.....

Credits- Sgt. Fist's fist gauntlets and badges on Cmdr. USA's shoulders taken from old template sheet. Rock Star's rocky arm based on arm I ganked from one of Joffre Roda's Micros, but I don't know if it's his or not....

Oh yeah- go do the Coloring contest. It's fun and (should be) quick.....unless you get obsessed....

Sweet Momma Pajamas! Those are fantastic. I love the Army and Air Force guys, and the Bug zapper and Northern lLght, and probably Commander USA the best.

Sometimes, I hear or see something, and think of something else, or an idea comes to me. I generally have to follow through on this stuff, or it drives me (more) nuts.....(See for reference Tiny Dino)

Rat's daughter (a fine Micro'er in her own right) uses the tag _JPM- turns out it stands for Jet Pack Mouse. So, of course, I had to make a mouse, with a jet pack.....



This balloon riding mousey here was kind enough to pose for me...

Then I stuck it in Photoshop, put a new layer over it, drew what I wanted, etc. etc......

Been really slacking off on the Micro front lately...

Did do some stuff for various contests....

Ditto came up with this temp for the Color Me Microed contest, I used it for the Child Of contest,
then made a bunch of others....



The template, Zara Jordan, daughter of Zatanna and Hal Jordan, Snowcat, Agent America, Batgirl VI (Always loved
Barbara Gordon ), BenGal- a cat chick, female Captain Rainbow, Cupid's Arrow, and a new costume for Nikki Scratch.

Then Devan Farmer posed us a recolor of his villain character Octave. i turned him into Crescendo.



And over in the Amalgame contest, the current challenge is combining Red Robin (Jason Todd) and the new Captain America.
I came up with Scarlet Patriot.
