Balladier
Real Name: Gustav Lascombe
Powers: The Balladier can hypnotize others with the sound of his flute.
Backstory: After saving the life of a homeless man, the man gave Gustav Lascombe an enchanted flute. Realizing the power now in his hands, Lascombe became the Balladier, notorious criminal.


Locksmith
Real Name: Jason Krueger
Powers: Locksmith's powers are magical in nature. While wearing his costume, he continuously generates locks from his belt and keys from his keyring. By picking off a lock and tossing it at an opponent, they are instantly wrapped in chains that erupt from the lock, restraining them. These chains are made of iron. The keys are sharp and are used as thrown projectiles. The Locksmith naturally also uses these to unlock his locks if he wishes to do so, as he can generate keys for virtually any locks. He also knows some low-level magic spells.
Backstory: Locksmith was a greedy stage magician whose big breakthrough never came. He felt himself locked into obscurity. He made a pact with a demon to open a path out of it.. but once he got his powers, he killed the demon with his thrown keys. He then set forth on a career at the mad side under the name Locksmith.

Locksmith is Scary in a cool way. Did you make the mask? It is very cool looking.

Real Name: Sam Josselyn
Powers: Excellent athletic condition. Uses razor-sharp discs, and smaller, thicker, blunt-ended discs as thrown weapons.
Backstory: None yet.

Hit Miss
Real Name: Lucky Blackwood
Powers: Hit Miss can affect the probability of things around her, thus creating "good luck" for her or anyone she chooses and "bad luck" for anyone she chooses.
Backstory: Lucky Blackwood, compulsive gambler, wasn't really living true to her first name. Her constant losses left her penniless. One day, seeing her life as over, she decided to jump a cliff... but as she stood at the edge of it, she found a shimmering little gem. Somehow enchanted by it, she took it home. Over the following days she discovered how lucky she suddenly was, while anyone she didn't want to be lucky was affected by severe bad luck. Realizing she had gained some kind of luck powers from that gem, she took the name Hit Miss and decided to bet her life on her luck as a crimefighter.
Unknownst to her, someone had watched and accepted the bet...

Wow. I think we're eating the same All-Brain Flakes for something. This guy is very similar to another character I made called The Piper. Just about the same thing, except he controls animals and has limited control over adult humans. Also, his flute extends into a staff.

Frankenstein's Monster
Real Name: None; has used many names over the years, including Frank, Adam and Prometheus
Powers: Frankenstein's Monster possesses superhuman strength (Comparable to that of Clarityverse vampires; ten tons) and even greater durability. He regenerates rapidly from injuries. He possesses a weakness to intense cold, which can put him into suspended animation, and to fire, though the latter is purely psychological.
Backstory: Created by Victor Frankenstein in the late 18th century, Frankenstein's Monster considers itself cursed with a hideous, monstrous body and continuously tries to find ways to either get a new, handsome body, or to simply end its cursed existence. At some point, it joined up with other "outcast" superhumans to form the Shock Troop.


Mummy
Real Name: Akori
Powers: The Mummy needs no food or water. He also possesses superhuman strength like Frankenstein's Monster, and limited telekinetic powers.
Backstory: The man who was to become the Mummy was guilty of several murders in ancient Egypt. As punishment, he was put under a curse and then mummified. As per the curse's effects, he was still "alive" in a way, and completely conscious though trapped in a tomb for over two thousand years. After grave robbers accidentally freed him, he went berserk until he was finally restrained. He was later taken off to be studied, but escaped and went into hiding. Much later, he joined with other "outcast" superhumans to form the Shock Troop.

The Entity
Real Name: None; Inapplicable
Powers: Able to alter reality with a thought; the power of the entity is virtually limitless within the Clarityverse, though some actions can strain it. Its physical body's destruction isonly a minor inconvenience.
Backstory: The Entity is the origin and guardian of the Clarityverse. Bored with its empty existence, it created a universe around it to see what would happen to all the little beings inside. However, upon learning their existence was as playthings, a horde of gods of various power opposed the Entity. Although it successfully defeated the army, the effort tore the Entity apart into fragments that shattered out into the universe in the form of powerful artifacts. The Entity could reform from this, but chose not to; the state in which it watched the universe did not matter.

Hmm, there's a movie called "The Entity" but it's about a ghost that *ahem* violates people.

Deathmatch
Real Name: Alfonso Ferrero
Powers: Extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant in peak physical condition. Wears blades on his wrists, and carries a sword. On occasion uses other ninja-style equipment such as shurikens or smoke bombs.
Backstory: A South American druglord liked to make slave workers fight in death matches. When a prostitute named Cristina was unable to pay him a debt, she got out of it by selling her own son Alfonso. Alfonso thus became a slave worker, and repeatedly took part in the death matches. One day, however, he managed to escape the arena. Making swift work of the guards and killing the druglord, he then set forth on an international mercenary career, sticking to the one thing he knew how to do.


2-D Man
Real Name: Arnold Ramsay
Powers: The 2-D Man has the power to enter a two-dimensional state. In this state, he can stretch parts of his body to long lengths and by concentrating, cut things at an atomic level.
Backstory: The 2-D Man was originally Dr. Arnold Ramsay, employed by the inter-universal crime organization run by the mysterious Deanna. Through his research in dimensions, he was able to grant the power to move in and out of dimensions to the already superpowered agent Cheshire. However, he always felt himself pushed into obscurity by other ambitious employees. Deciding to strike out on his own, he used his equipment to give himself superpowers. As the 2-D Man, he remains a dangerous threat.

Blackbird
Real Name: Conchata Bale
Powers: Blackbird's suit grants her the ability to fly. The feathers on her suit's wings are sharp enough to be used as a cutting weapon by executing a fly-by attack.
Backstory: After romancing Stan Steiner for some time, Conchata Bale discovered the Blue Hawk suit in his home. Realizing he was the Blue Hawk, she searched through the files in his office and found the plans for the suit. She designed her own suit based on it, but had less-than-honorable intentions..
