I was going to wait until I had a few more micros ready before I posted some more but I've been working a few weeks on this one and just finished him tonight, and I gotta say I love how good it looks, at least how good it looks to me anyway.

I give you my Noir Flash.

Besides a few colors being off and the goggles which I just noticed *facepalms* I think it looks pretty dang close to the picture. If I had to do anything else to it, which I may in the future, I'd do the shading again because I know I'm not the best at it yet and try and get the colors closer. I will try and make an enlarged version of the patch on his sleeve up as soon as I can, I've got a few ideas about what to do with it and I think it'll turn out pretty cool when it's done. Any criticism about the micro, or help/ideas on how to do the patch will be greatly appreciated.

Now I did use a few templates that can be found on this site. The hair was one that I made to what it is, The collars and the rolled up sleeves are some that I also got from one of the templates, Emissary's I believe. I'm sorry that I can't remember whos at the time being, but credit where it's due.

I think the coloring is pretty close. Looks pretty sick.

Yeah the color of the Noir Flash is really close, I've noticed the more that I look at the picture that the pants are a mix between the tan I have and the olive green used my the military and the rolled up sleeves are a bit darker in the picture, but I'm still pretty happy with how he turned out, especially the lightnight bolt design on his jacket. Whenever I finish up what I'm working on now I'll probably recolor him and probably do a few in the original Flash colors.

Anyway, on to some more micros!

While browsing the interweb I've come across lots of sketches of redesigns of Marvel and DC comic heroes. Some of them are pretty awesome and I just had to make a micro of them.

First up, Starfire.


I don't do to many female micros but I am quite happy with how the ones I've done have turned out and this one is one of my favorites.

Then we've got, Atom Eve.


There were a few things that I wasn't sure of when I was working on her but in the end I do like how she turned out.

And finally, Guy Gardner.


If Guy looked like this in the comics, and acted like he looks, then he would no doubt be my favorite. Now I did two versions of Guy because I did one that was just a basic look and then the other is closer to the picture that I based it off of.

Now each of these pictures can be found on superheroofthemonth.com, it's a pretty cool site where people are given a character each month and then turn in their sketches of how they would have made the character look. Whenever I finish up all of the micros of some of the designs that were my favorites I plan on sending in the micros to the site.

Now, credit of course goes to the creators of these sketches, RayneKirby for the hair templates, as well as the all the others who's work I may have used.

Adam Strange, with options cause I coulnd't decide. The outfit and jetpack is based a little off the Young Justice version. I kinda had the idea of him just starting out and taking a little inspiration from Superman by emblazoning a letter on his chest. Couldn't decide if I liked the A or S though.

Credit where credit is due. A lot of this is all my own, but hair is RsyneKirby's, the guns on the female Punisher are from Zedox's armory, and the weapon hands on Blacksmith are from another of the templates found on this site, whose name I cannot recall at the time.

I do prefer the black top than the green top but there's always something about the original cholor scheme that I love. I do prefer the lantern that I made rather than Emissary's that I used just because of the individuality of it.

Some updates for my JackKnife universe.


The Ringleader. After some time, and a few incursions with JackKnife, he went underground to gather his resources before returning to the public.


Animal Tamer. After the first fight with JackKnife the Animal tamer (Name still undecided), decided to go his own way and try a solo career as a criminal which only landed him in prison. After his stint in prison he returned to the world and back to his namesake, until approached by The Ringleader with an interesting proposal.





JackKnife. Still coming up with how he acquired his new outfit, but he now has his blue and black outfits. Depending on if he has to be stealthier than usual is whether or not he uses his black outfit.




Just a couple of micros of suits.
