PERSONALITY:
Thyme was distinguished by her total lack of emotion which she often masks with a false, cheerful, yet transparent face. After much mental conditioning and training while in Illuminati, Thyme had suppressed almost all of her emotions and thus making it easier for her to accomplish dangerous, unpleasant, or unethical missions. Due to this training and her lack of social experience and personal initiative, Thyme has great trouble in understanding how bonds between people can motivate others.
Thyme's social awkwardness tended to get people angry, because she would often speak without considering her words and their effects on people. This was due to his inability to realize the difference between a rude statement and a true statement. Thyme had read somewhere in a book that giving somebody a nickname would bring you closer to that person and develop your friendship, this resulted in Thyme hurting Liney's feelings, because she called her ugly, stating the first true character trait that came to her mind. This also nearly led to enraging a boy, while eating barbecue with the other foster kids she nearly called him "fatso". Luckily Ashley covered her mouth before she could finish.
Thyme is a very strict person, often criticizing the bad behavior and habits of the other Akuma members, causing most of them to apologize, fearing that they might invoke her wrath. She is also very impatient, disliking people who don't answer her questions quickly enough. This, coupled with her own tragic childhood, caused many of her teammates to avoid her due to her social awkwardness.
According to Amanda in the letter she wrote for her mother Thyme is "cool and beautiful", even so she can be really girly and liked sweet things and cute clothes.
Thyme has shown to have very little modesty and an unusual view on the concept in general. Many of her armors are skimpy, revealing and feminine, and when out of armor she has an affinity for sexy and revealing clothing. Also Thyme seems to have no problem with men seeing her naked. She felt no discomfort stating her desire to shower with Feu and Glace. When they were at the hot spring, when she learned that boys may have been peeping on her and the other girls, she wanted to invite them to bath with them, much to Amanda's shock and Liney's strong objection. Amanda has also stated that Thyme has a habit of climbing into her bed.
After spending more time with her friends, Thyme comes to appreciate bonds, particularly the bond that exists between Ashley Arroyo and Liney Vallejo. This causes her to break out of her emotionless shell and she starts to remember the times she had with her own "Friend", Damian. In doing so, Thyme was able to start giving genuine smiles. Wanting to experience personal bonds for herself however, since she is learning most of this out of books and by trial and error, she often accidentally ends up offending people with her nicknames and conversation. She has come to develop a more genuine, pleasant and thoughtful personality, while also showing signs of more emotion, such as enthusiasm and occasionally nervousness. Thyme is seen being friendly towards others, helping companions when they need it, referring to peers kindly, and having fun in social situations.
Thyme is very observant, and is always focused on her missions. She pays a lot of attention to detail, allowing her to quickly notice if something is not as it appears. This awareness spans beyond the trials of duty, as Thyme was later quick to understand the nature of Ashley's inner burden. Ashley wanted revenge for Juvia's death, something she would later regret and try to make amends for after understanding how by telling Liney her misinterpreted view of Ashley's pain it had ultimately put her in grave danger. Thyme holds Ashley in high regard, and tries to assist Ashley whenever she's going through hardships.
STORY:
Before Thyme was born her mother Terra while in St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City a woman came to her and told her that God has chosen her. At the moment she didn’t know what the woman meant. Few months passed and Terra found out she was pregnant even thou she hasn’t been sexually active in years. Terra eventually gave birth to Thyme but at the time she named her Lilyannah. Later she was resting at the hospital and a man came to her room and killed her, also taking the child with him.
Thyme after being taken was trained by Illuminati, a secret cult of the Government. There she was raised and conditioned to have no personality, personal connections, or a name; "Thyme" being given as a Codename. Though largely successful in this regard, Thyme retained an interest in art. She was trained together with several other People, most of them were children. Among these children were Damian Cutting, Kevin Ramos, Bruce Bausk, Christopher Dummer, and Victoria Estrela. While they were asking each other for their names, she said that her name was just "Thyme", so Damian decided to give her the surname "Farrington" after his mother’s surname so they would never forget it. Despite the harsh conditions of her training, Thyme became close friends with the other children. When Damian discovered Thyme's drawing ability, he encouraged Thyme's talent and they became very close.
Over time, Thyme came to have feelings Damian. Unfortunately, Thyme and Damian were supposed to fight to the death by Illuminati regulations, in a final step to eradicate emotions. Before that happened, however, One day, Kevin came up with a plan for the eleven-year-old Thyme and all their friends to escape from the Underground base. They were unfortunately caught by the guards, who decided to send the escape's mastermind to the disciplinary chamber, while the rest would be deprived of food for three days. Seeing how fearful Kevin was, Thyme prepared to take the blame herself, but Damian announced himself as the mastermind instead. However, the guards reasoned that Thyme was the one responsible and sent her to the disciplinary chamber, where she was tortured to the brink of death. Damian rescued her, but was captured soon after.
Thyme decided to revolt along with her friends so they could escape and save Damian. During the revolt Thyme saw her friends being beaten near death, and watching Bruce gets both of his arms blown off. In her rage, Thyme's Angel abilities (which she inherited from the Angel how impregnated her mother) were activated for the first time, and she used it to turn all of the discarded weapons and tools around her against the guards.
As her friends got to the elevator meant to ensure their freedom, she reunited with Damian, but discovered that he had changed; the kind and compassionate boy she knew him to be was suddenly twisted and violent, using some kind of demonic power to slaughter the defenseless guards around them. Damian had been possessed by what he claimed to be Lucifer, and decided that the only way for them to attain true freedom was to complete the Portal to Hell and lead Lucifer's Army. Thyme refused to help him, prompting Damian to cast her out of the Underground base by herself, only letting her live because she helped take care of all the guards who would have opposed him. Before letting her escape, Damian told Thyme to keep the Underground Base and the Portal a secret from the World, as well as to never return to the Base, threatening to destroy the Base and kill everyone in it, including their friends, if she disobeyed.
After leaving the base and wondering the streets of New York, Thyme ran into a woman named Juvia Rein who took her in and raised her at the foster home. When she got there she made new friends Ashley Ann Arroyo, Liney Vallejo, and Amanda Cutting, thou she has never forgotten about the ones she left behind.
As the years passed, Thyme became more and more strict until she could be called the home's disciplinarian. She took responsibility for breaking up fights between Glace and Feu. At the same time, however, she was driven to constantly fight and bicker with fellow member Ashley.
Later she also joined Ashley in her Quest for revenge, thus joining Akuma later on where she eventually earned the title "The Holy Knight". Thyme created a picture book that would depict all the opponents she faced and illustrate the feelings that she for Damian. In the last page of the book would be a picture of them holding hands. Thyme forgot that this was her intention, and the picture book was left unfinished, though she could never bring it upon herself to discard the book. But after bonding with Amanda Cutting, Thyme remembers and completes the book, causing her to give her first genuine display of emotion in a long time: a smile.

I'm loving all these characters so far. The designs are pretty out-there, but I think that's why I like them, and you pull off the designs with so much skill. The fact that we get fleshed-out backstories is just a bonus.

PERSONALITY:
Amanda is a bit of a diva who takes exceptional pride in her looks and Intelligence. She is very confident in her appearance, often exuding a certain amount of vanity. Despite this superficial attitude, she is genuinely a clever, kind, and caring person. Amanda is passionate for literature and is in the process of writing her own novel about her adventures with Akuma. Aside from her interest in writing and reading prose, she also likes shopping for Cosplaying.
She is a member of the Cutting family, once one of the wealthiest and most influential conglomerate families in the United States. However, due to her estranged relationship with her father , George Cutting, and the death of her mother, Josie Cutting, she left home to follow her own path.
Amanda is very kind to her Zovex Spirits, and refuses to use them as shields. She fights alongside them, and treats her spirits as people, unlike other Zovex Spirit Tamers, who views them as mere tools and objects. She will also go to great lengths to give them happiness, even at the cost of her life. Despite technically being an owner of the spirits, she refuses to be addressed as such, and instead prefers to be called their friend. Though Amanda is, in most cases, cowardly, she has no problem standing up to fight, take damage, and run straight into danger for the sake of her friends and guild. While her powers are normally not as overwhelming as her teammates', Amanda has proven to be a capable combatant herself, often using her cleverness to her advantage, and thinking outside the box during battle.
She was the first to accept Ashley after learning that he was the Daughter of Lucifer. Amanda's biggest influence is Thyme herself, looking up to her as a role model. At various points, Thyme and Amanda appear to have common bonds between them, such as the being very confident in her appearance. The two clearly have a deep and understanding friendship. Amanda idolizes Thyme in ways that no other person does, which was also shown when the two first met, with Amanda calling Thyme "Patron", which translates to boss. She opened to Thyme and told her that she was sad because nobody saw her for who she really was, instead, they only saw her as the Girl from the Cutting Family and was always called "Cutting's Girl" instead of Amanda. She liked Thyme because she thought they were similar. They eventually became very close, with Amanda constantly calling Thyme "Ane", which can be translated to big sister.
STORY:
Amanda was born into the once extremely wealthy and powerful Cutting family. Her father and mother were originally part of a merchants' Organization called 'Ad Nama' where the two met; they decided to become independent when Amanda's mother, Josie, became pregnant. They chose her name when they noticed that the name for the Organization on a puddle of water and backwards read 'Amanda'; it made an impression on them, so they decided to name their daughter after it.
Back in her home, Amanda shared a good relationship with the staff in the Mansion as well as, presumably, her mother, until she passed away when Amanda was around the age of five. Josie gave Amanda her deck of cards before she died, even though Amanda didn’t know what they were for. However, because her father was overly obsessed with his business, he had neglected his daughter, which eventually led her to run away from home two years after her mother’s death.
After running away Amanda was out on the streets until she ran into a woman name Juvia. Juvia guided her to the Orphanage where she met Thyme, who she instantly idolized. Amanda also called Thyme "Patron", because see wanted thyme to teacher her everything. Amanda stayed in the Orphanage for three years until the incident that happened to Juvia. Then she follows Thyme, who wanted to join Ashley.
After a Year she joined Akuma along with the others. Amanda became a Techno / Computer whiz who has skills in hacking. She has a personal computer hidden in her stuff animal she carries around. Now she is in charge of locating Monsters and Hacking into other Organizations and Government computer systems.
